Kids absolutely love the game. However, free next day delivery was a complete disaster. Delivery was over 2 weeks. I had to go purchase the game again to have it on time. Unfortunately, it was out of stock at BB so ended up at another retailer.

Gameplay is much of the same with a few additions. Graphics look nice, except many faces are very unsettling, most uncanny valley I've ever seen. Black suit is awesome. The most disappointing part is the writing and sometimes off-putting quests. It's very much full of niche activist ideological fluff. It seems very politically motivated, but character conversations and topics get bizarre. The Spanish language sections are reworded in strange ways which, again, feels very politically motivated. I wish more resources went to the actual game.

Bought a new PS5 and a separate copy of Spiderman because they didn't have the bundle. We had some things come up so we didn't set it up during the return window. The PS5 is fine. It's the Spiderman 2 launch edition disc that wouldn't play. We took it it back, but of course it was beyond the 14 day return policy. Last night, even tho there were no visible defects in the disc, I decided to use a small amount of Dawn on my fingertip and carefully applied it to the wet disc and rinsed it off. It was a last ditch effort thinking maybe there could be some sort of a film or oil on it to try to save $70. Then I laid it a paper towel and could tell immediately that the label was rinsing off. It's appears to be a defective or counterfeit disc. $70 for nothing. Pretty much done with Best Buy. And now it won't allow me to upload photos of the disc for this review. Interesting. Every file is too large. Wow. If you buy anything, DO NOT let real life happen. You can't return anything. Open it immediately.

Every "Spider-Man" aspect of this game is great. However when there are moments where you are taken out of the "Spider-Man" aspects of this game for the sake of pandering.

This game was a lot of fun but woke politics don't belong in it.

He’s played every Spiderman game in existence. He was glad he didnt spend his own money on the game. Said hes going to finish it but he doesn’t like it and wont ever play it again. He called it a cash grab and listed a ton of things he disliked about it. Disappointing because he seemed happy at first but every time he’d play a while and then come tell me something else he hates, sometimes downright angry at the game.

Boss fights weren’t up to par. Could have been better like the 1st game. Slightly disappointed.

Great game if ypur not actually from NYC, the city doesnt look anything like the game, especially Queens section

Not as good as the first 2 but probably the most fun swinging snd open world of any game generation

Venom was amazing! Had a blast playing it. Only turn off was the unnecessary wokeness. One mission you help a gay boy get a date. Why put that in a video game. Not cool
