This game is highly polished and the gameplay felt smooth and intuitive. Parts of the story were entertaining and other parts felt very boring for me personally. I found myself skipping many many cut scenes when it seemed like it was just filler material. I completed 90% of the game and left a few collectibles behind just because I was bored with the repetitive nature of the tasks. Combat is pretty fun but can also feel tedious and repetitive at times. As far as super hero games go this is a good one and if you’re a Spider-Man fan like me, you will find lots to enjoy. The visuals are consistently good to great, but I did have about 3 - 4 game ending bugs. However after restarting the game I found it saved my location in the map exactly. Some of the side quests and crimes were all tedious after the 10th time doing the same task. The extra suits you can unlock did not seem to affect the gameplay in any way for me, aside from the visual. I dunno, I am mixed because I had fun doing many of the tasks, but could not get away from it feeling so tedious at times. I liked it enough to finish the whole story and most of the side missions/collectibles, but somehow it all ended up feeling a bit hollow for me.

Spider-Man 2 for the PS5 is an absolute masterpiece. The game elevates everything that made the first two Spider-Man games great, with stunning graphics, seamless open-world exploration, and an engaging story. The addition of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters adds depth and variety to gameplay, each with unique abilities and combat styles. The web-swinging mechanics are smoother than ever, and the combat is fast-paced and fluid. Whether you're a Spider-Man fan or a newcomer, this game is a must-play. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite games this year even though it really doesn't do much different than the last 2 Spider-man games. It is the little things that make me love it. Solid story that is easy to follow, great traversal with the addition a the web wings, very little loading with amazing fast travel. Combat is fun and easy to get good at. Side tasks are quick and not too much of chore to complete most of them. It runs great and looks great. I am 16 hrs in and it is just a fun game. I usually start to get tired of most games by this time and start pushing to get through it. So far I am thinking I may 100% it since it doesn't seem to much of a commitment to do so. There are other games that were probably more 'game changing' this year but there are probably not any others that are more fun.

Spider-Man 2 met my surpassed my expectations. Every scene was of Hollywood quality. (NO SPOILERS) (Gameplay) is 9.7/10 they add many aspects such as a fully fledged out skill tree for both individual Miles and Peter and one combination tree. Here you can level up special abilities and some combos. The aerial combos are well diverse to make the game feel fresh. Not mention you have gadgets that you don’t have to pause time to switch but it’s seamless real time gameplay. (Graphics) are 9.6/10 The graphics are an A tier quality in fidelity mode you can see the fine detail in the suits of the characters. The point that stands out the most is hair on the characters. Each scene in the world had great textures, it feels like they put a clean slate on New York. Facial Macao is well done during the cut scenes you feel the gravity of all the characters emotions. The lighting is done well in according to the daylight and even in dark places. (Bosses and Enemy quality) 9.8/10 Spider-Man 2 features a number of new enemies such as the hunters, sandmen, symbiote, and classic robbers. There is a boss for each of these enemies except for the robbers. Some bosses will take you by surprise. The amount of bosses in this game put a smile on my face because there was something new to challenge me, and multiple bosses have different phases where they get stronger. Story is a (9.9/10) (No Spoilers) The story was phenomenal because it answered all the questions from two previous titles. It all made sense and the new villain was interesting. New villains are introduced to the game but are part of the Spider-Man universe. Each villain gets their respected stories. A lot of events happen in this game and most of it focuses on Peter 75% of the story and Miles gets 25-30% of the story. Although this is fair because Miles Morales had his own game. All in all Insomniac Games meshed the duo together to bring a fun, serious, action packed game that covers all aspects of the universe. I can’t believe there is this much content in 100gbs. FINAL RATING: 9.7 OUT OF 10

Great gameplay and storyline. Good mix of both for balance. Only issue was how short the main story is. The new moves with the team up and switching between Morales abd Parker, along with upgraded weapons was cool with great fights. Wish they could add missions from online that ypu could download like you can with the PC games so it could be worth the price. Short gaming leaves you wanting more.

Yes. It’s NOT a reason to buy a PS5 for everyone. But for the larger group of PlayStation gamers, this is not a disappointment. Pros: Good Story Great gameplay No major game breaking glitches Cons: Quite a bit easier than the first two entries Some side quests are pointless and try to force messages. Mixed: Character changes (Some are great) A LOT of repetitive dialogue and side quests

I loved every second of this game, so much so that I beat it only 2 days after release, and have already replayed it. The story is great, swinging feels smoother than ever, and combat was challenging, but not annoying. Would definitely recommend.

This game is so amazing and improves upon everything the first game and miles morales did right. The swinging is phenomenal, the combat is more in depth, the story is emotional and heartbraking and the graphics are top of the line. Im not gonna lie this is most definitely the best spider man game of all time and i do not say that lightly. On the off chance you didnt buy this I implore you to do it right now, it is too good to pass up and its reccomended by 9/10 of all dentists

Spider-Man 2 is such an awesome game! The graphics are stunning, and swinging through the city feels amazing. The storyline really pulls you in, and I love how they developed the characters. Plus, the combat mechanics are super fun and satisfying. There are so many side missions and collectibles to keep you busy, too! Overall, it's a fantastic experience for any Spider-Man fan. Definitely worth playing!

WOW! Thats what i have to say. Insomniac set the bar sooooo high with this Spiderman 2 game for the PS5. They went above and beyond for this title. In my opinion its the Game of the Year! The minute you start playing you get put right into the action fighting one of the boss enemies and let me tell you the attention to detail I have not seen in any other video game come close!! The graphics are gorgeous! This game is full of fun gameplay that will keep you glued to your seat enjoying the whole story mode. There is so many different aspects of things you will do that even some of them reflect the experience of what a average human being does on a daily bases. It is extremely well thought out and put togethor. I will not spoil it for you, just know you will be drawn to some real awesome interactive events. Easily Game of the Year for me i have not seen other games come close to the quality and attention to little detail as this game has. Every PS5 owner must have game!

Great Game an would recommend to anyone who likes Spider Man or just anyone bored and wants a new game! Graphics are great and swinging as both characters is a 10/10. Playing as Venom is so much fun as well!

Long after Spider-Man came out for the PS4, I hadn't really found a PlayStation title that truly matched my enjoyment of that play-through. Not to say there aren't truly great games - the Last of Us & Horizon Zero Dawn series come to mind immediately. Spider-Man was just seriously fun to play, but also packed a narrative emotional punch. When the Mile Morales game came out, that was also super exciting. I loved playing it, but it felt truncated compared to its predecessor. Now years later, bringing them together in a rich, shared narrative was a home run. With many updates across the board - this is certainly game of the year in my book. The price is steep, as with any new video game right now. But believe me, it's worth the cost and then some. I eagerly anticipate any further Insomniac content RE: Spider-Man.
