Honestly, I was expecting more from this game. The writing is reall bad overall minus the Venom / Symbiote storyline. Kraven The Hunter is a cool character, but his story makes no sense. He's Kraven the Hunter but he has an army of thousands that he makes do all the hunting while he's just chilling. Umm okay, someone needs to read the comics because the writers most certainly did not. Most of Miles Morales missions / side missions are BORING, they really didn't do Miles justice in this game, his story is LAME compared to Parker's. And Maryjane, well lets just say she must've been playing some Assassin's Creed between the last game & this game because she's a straight up Ninja Assassin in this game. Speaking of Side Missions, they are noticeably worse in this game, obnoxious, tedious & dumb are the only way I can describe some of these missions. The graphics are great, the gameplay is great but it's almost exactly the same as the first game except for the addition of a parry button, which is a gift & a curse in boss fights. The bigger map & new locales are cool Black Cat is suddenly not interested in men / peter anymore & there's lots of other SJW Virtue Signaling thrown into the game. If you like that sort of thing, you will love this. There are many things that I feel the first game did better, Writing first of all, Plot & Side Missions / Activities were way better, First game was funnier, Comedy in this one is pretty cringe in a lot of parts. Miles also had a better story, Maryjane was more realistic, more character nuances & better sub plots. A lot of things feel forced when it comes to the writing in this game. Overall, my disappointment with this game is greater than my desire to play. I completed the first game at least 4 or 5 times, but I have no desire to play this one again, one time was enough.
