The new graphics on the ps5 for this game are great. The smoothness of 4K at 60htz makes it look great and vibrant. The story of the game is also engaging and will keep you playing for hours.

Incredible graphics, gameplay. Story with Miles is just as riveting as it was for Peter in the prequel. Side missions were much more interesting. Fantastic game.

The gameplay is really good and miles is really likeable even when making mistakes. The ending is really great as well the only real issues is the lack of villains. There aren't nearly as many as the last one. Also the game also feels alot shorter than the last one. It was played on ps5 and feels faster than the original but I think playing it on a ps4 pro would still be enjoyable aside from the speed of the game the visuals weren't that insane. So I would not get a ps5just to play it especially since you can upgrade to the ps5 easily if you get a ps5 later on.

Absolutely fantastic game. Looks very beautiful on PS5 in both 60fps mode and fidelity mode. The combat is fun, fast, and adds a new ability with venom punch that makes miles morales feel unique compared to spiderman ps4. If you enjoyed spiderman ps4, then you will definitely enjoy this game. The only downside is that this game is pretty short compared to spiderman ps4. I definitely do wish it was longer, but the game is $10 less than a typical $60 title, and with many ps5 titles launching at $70, I think it is fair that this is a shorter game than before.

Web-swinging around NY never gets old. If you've played and enjoyed the OG Spider-Man on PS4, this is better. It's just simply fun, and the addition of new combat abilities contribute to a new element of gameplay that makes the character feel unique. Visually incredible, engaging environments, and offers deep character development. Only downside is that its story is relatively short, which is to be expected considering it was released as more of an add-on than a new installment. Still has plenty of replay value.

While the game is way shorter, the game is a great half-sequel to Spiderman. The gameplay is technically smoother and more revised and something you’ll definitely live if you’re a fan of the original game. It may just be a glorified DLC, but for the price, it’s a very enjoyable time.

From the moment the game begins, you know you are playing something special. As Miles stands in a subway train, there is an ever so slight rumble in the controller as the train hits a bump in the track. It was a small detail that truly represented the care Insomniac put into this game. The graphics are beautiful, gameplay is smooth and spectacular; just as it was in Spider-Man 2018. There are a few changes that differentiate Miles from Peter Parker, but overall it is very similar in terms of combat. The game is short, with the main storyline only taking 10 hours for most people to complete, there are side quests and other things to find around Harlem that should take people a few more hours to get through. Though it is far shorter than Spider-Man 2018, it is $10 less than that game was (although it should have been slightly less with how short the game is). Nevertheless, I am having an absolute great time playing it and cannot wait to see what awaits for the future of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games.

Perfect Launch game for the exceptional PS5 console. For a launch title this game is exceptional. It does the business. Graphica and ray tracing in fidelity mode (30FPS) is eye candy and pleasing to look it. Everything in the environment looks realistic and comes to life especially reflections with ray tracing. Performance mode at 60FPS may not have ray tracing but the game feels so smooth you wont even mind. It still looks absolutely amazing and provides seamless combat. Its a preference to which mode to play in The story of this game is pretty short as expected because its not a full sequel its a game to introduce miles as his own spiderman. But dont let that discourage, the quality of the story is amazing and will have you wanting to replay it. It also has a bunch of side activities. The gameplay in general is exceptional and with mile’s new powers, it really delivers. The gameplay is similar or even be better than Spiderman ps4. And FINALLY no loading times with the SSD! Highly recommend

If you like spiderman get this game. Aside from the previous version with Peter, this game expands upon that and make playing as Miles a blast. Best buy has some great deals on games during black friday and seasonal sales events. Be on tge lookout.

TL;DR - This game IMO is best played on 'fidelity' mode to showcase the prowess of the PS5. Also the game's great too. There are two options to play this game on which are 'fidelity' and 'performance' modes. Fidelity gives you ray tracing and prettier graphics, but chops the framerate to a solid 30 FPS so gameplay is not as smooth. The latter on the other hand gives you better performance at a locked 60 FPS but no ray tracing and less pretty graphics. Insomniac were spot on with the ray-tracing in this game and it actually makes a difference as opposed to a few other titles that use it such as Watch Dogs Legion that make ray tracing look like a gimmick. IMO I highly recommend playing this on Fidelity mode because its genuinely a gorgeous game best played on a 4K TV/monitor. And the game is a blast to play through even if you didn't play the first game on PS4.

I enjoyed this game. If you have played the other Spiderman game, you can expect more of that. I'm sure this was originally planned as DLC, but then they needed a new game to launch the PS5. There are a few differences, though, since Miles can temporarily turn invisible and has electric powers, but it's mostly the same, really. The graphics are obviously better but not so much that I stopped and took notice very often...not like the new Ratchet and Clank game by the same developer. Of course, that game was probably built from the ground up for the PS5. This game is quite short. I got 100% within about 3 days, and I'm sure if you played it nonstop, it could be done much faster. I definitely recommend it, but not at full price-unless you just absolutely have to have a new game for your new system right now.
