A beautiful game. You'll enjoy this regardless of whether or not you played the PS4 Spiderman game. It's a well paced, fun, game. Honestly, I'd prefer more experiences like this than huge open world games that take 50+ hours

Short game but great quality. If you love Spider-Man you’ll love this game

Loads of fun. Better than the first spiderman game. Just super short. Can’t wait for more DLCs

This game is awesome. The world/setting, plot, voice acting, and gameplay are all top notch. Loved the diversity and representation in the game, which was not at the expense of the story or anything. It would have been interesting to hear from Peter Parker's perspective what he thinks when people in Harlem say Miles is "their" Spider-Man, or how they feel Peter let them down if at all, but the writers don't explore that idea. Maybe next game? Miles' powers add a nice element to the game. The stealth missions were fun. Of course, swinging around New York never gets old and the graphics are incredible. People say the game is short, which admittedly it might be compared to monsters like Witcher 3, but you feel "full" and satisfied after playing it. If I had one bad thing to say about the game is that it does not bring back a lot of your usual Spider-Man enemies or cast members. There were maybe 4 character villains in the game, which I am not going to spoil for you. Only one of them was someone you'd think of off the top of your head when you hear the words "Spider-Man villains". There's another famous one that you can fight, in a way, but I won't go any further on that. Insomniac went all out with the villain usage in the previous game. Maybe they did not want to repeat that experience too much by shoehorning as many villains as possible here. I'm excited for the next game! Until then, I strongly recommend this one if you haven't played it already.

Gameplay was great. Graphics were amazing. Pretty short game but overall I do recommend it.

Great game. MILES is his very own spiderman. Its fun but its a very short game. I fi ished the story in 6 hours clocked. Has plenty of side missions but thats about the only way you can expand the game time.

This game is awesome I always wanted to play as miles longer since i didn't get to that on the last great spiderman game and now with this game on the ps5 I get that in even better graphics what a gift!!!

Graphics on the PS5 are amazing. Direct story is a little short, roughly 8hrs.

An excellent follow up to the PS4 game with another great story and enough new stuff to keep it fun, and really expands on Miles' character from the first game to make you love him as a character

Love this game. Looks amazing. So fun from the first moment. The graphics are awesome. Raytracing....I mean the game just has a totally new feel. It really puts you into the next gen experience.

If you like spider man on ps4 then you need to play this game and amazing stand along story with tons of hours of gameplay and fun I love this game the best ps5 game so far looks beyond amazing

Great gameplay, lacking story and can be completed in under 10 hours. Could have been a solid DLC to Spider-Man but I can see how they wanted Miles to have his own separate journey, just feels like they missed something.

This game was awesome. 10/10. Suits were really cool too. This is the first time I even tried unlocking all the suits. Overall great gameplay and story. Graphics were what made it great.

Fantastic game that plays even better than the first Insomniac Spider-man. The story is well paced and filled with fresh characters. I love the holiday theme for the game as well—reminds me of Arkham Origins! Graphically, the game is a sight to behold on PS5. Personally, I chose the performance mode for that sweet 60fps. However the quality mode with ray-tracing is gorgeous as well, but not the best choice for fluid combat.

If you’ve played the first Spiderman game this feels more like a demo than a full story. It’s fun. Graphics are beautiful but I beat the whole story in less than 5 hours of total game time. Total bummer. Swinging though the city is fun but chasing down random “helicopters” gets old fast.

This game is really good with a great story mode and excellent graphics and even after you finish the story mode you can still do so much more overall it’s a really great game.

This game is phenomenal, just almost perfect, it’s so good. To answer the question, is the first Spider-Man PS4 game or better or this one, I’m not sure, but either way, I’d highly recommend both. Both are phenomenal games, without a doubt. My only complaint with Miles Morales (this game), is the length. It is VERY short, especially compared to the first game. But, still amazing. Also, on the PS4 version too, towards the end of the game, I noticed some lag and glitching, but nothing game breaking, and I’m sure it’ll get patched. (I played on PS4 Pro). Easily worth the $60, stop reading this review and just buy this game already!
