Baby cams have changed quite a bit over the years. Mostly it was a camera with possibly some room temp built in. This package had it all. First the camera. It was very easy to install and set up. The resolution of the camera is excellent a you can pan and tilt the picture via the app as needed. Another great feature is since it is web based, you can give access to other family members as well. The room monitoring feature and two way audio work great as well. The boot is a great product. First, two size of boot is included - small and medium. The product is built to be able to be used as your baby grows. You can purchase larger boots as needed. The boot did not bother our baby. The battery on the boot lasts over 12 hours from what we found which is more than enough for the night. The boot takes vital reading and you can view these over time and it also provides education on the vitals via the app so you know what each means. Very helpful. The app is easy to navigate and get the details you want and need. While it is not cheap, if you are looking for a function rich monitoring product, I would highly recommend this.

The Stork Vitals+ is a great device for anyone whose expecting and has a baby. This device will help ease your mind when your child is asleep, sick, ir if you have to walk out the room to do household chores. The little boot is easy to slide onto your babies foot and it comes in different sizes that will fit all the way up to 18 months old. Its made of silicon so its soft and comfortable for your little one. The sensor that you place on the boot has a very long charge time of 16 hours. It runs with a stork app that allows you to monitor your babies health, the room temp, and much more. It also comes with a camera that allows you to have eyes on your little one even when you have to step away to do chores, run to the bathroom, or something else. Having this system gives you peace of mind and a little extra help monitoring ypur little one so that you can also take care of yourself and your household. One of my favorite features is that the app saves all the information as well as their milestones. I like to use that for doctors appointments to share eith her pediatrician and the milestones is just for my personal keepsake.

Overall, the Stork Vitals + Monitor system is a great bundle to include your standard camera system but offers the MASSIVE relief of being able to monitor key vitals to provide new parents a serious sense of relief. How often have you watched a baby quietly sleeping in their crib and you have to stop the urge to run in there and make sure they're breathing? Having had a friend whose child passed away of SIDS, I've delved into some research associated with the diagnosis and there've been some studies suggesting that newborns can have a markedly reduced capacity to [instinctually] move their faces or lift their head to avoid dangerous situations. That being said, the relief of being able to see real-time vitals takes so much worry off your shoulders! How does this system do this? Well, this package comes with several components: (1) the boot in two sizes and straps (2) night-vision capable camera (3) camera mount (4) removal/rechargeable sensor that goes into the boot (5) cable management system (6) charging cables and adapters. I think it's important to note that the boot isn't a hard plastic; it's a fairly soft silicone boot so it should be comfortable enough for most babies- ours had no issue with it. I fully expected an annoyed response in a similar vein to how dogs react to getting rubber booties put on them. Babies don't care so much. It's also machine washable (the sensor needs to be wiped down by hand) but you'll definitely want to wash it because it will just get gross, no matter how hard you try. Speaking of "babies", I believe this is intended for children <18 months old; though, generally, I'd say this is more applicable for VERY young children or premature babies that may need some additional monitoring. The app is great! It's simple enough - Cam footage, oxygen saturation (SpO2), heart rate, temperature, and sleep monitoring. The latter is sort of a small portion of this device but keeping track of sleep patterns will be incredibly helpful for later for the proper sleep training nights. Overall, this is a great system to have on hand specifically for peace of mind. You’re going to want to have a camera system anyway, might as well get one that incorporates monitoring of your baby’s vitals. I’m a huge fan.

There are a lot of different options now when it comes to infant vitals monitoring. I’ve tried most at this point and this one does rank somewhere close to the top. It provides some of the best vitals monitoring that’s available for babies, but there are some short comings that you should consider before buying. Setting the boot and camera up wasn’t super easy, figuring out where to mount the camera, finding a relatively unknown app in the App Store and getting everything together did take some time. But once it was all done, all I needed to do was strap the boot on for a nights sleep. If your main focus here is on the vitals boot, then I think you’ll like it. It has all the vitals sensors you’d want, pulse ox, temp, air quality, etc. from practice all seem to work pretty well. Though remember this is a first gen product so there were some quirks with connections and odd notifications during my use. But overall I was able to see all my babies vitals any time I wanted to see them. Now the camera… it’s not great. At this price range there are a lot of other cameras that work way better than this one. Both baby monitors and normal security cameras that can be repurposed. The video quality is not good and the night vision is unreliable. If the camera is a big need I’d consider a supplemental device for that. Overall I do really like the setup and think I’ll continue to use it and how that the camera can be improved with future software updates.

There are three main parts to the Stork Vitals+, so I’ll discuss each in turn. Camera: Easy to set up and install. Image quality is good both during day and night. Camera has disconnected from the internet a couple of times, but reconnected on its own. This is likely due to the location in the house and I was super pleased I didn’t have to re-sync it each time. Boot: Easy to assemble and understand. Fits my newborn granddaughter’s foot and is comfortable for her, she doesn’t notice it at all. Oximeter and heart rate seem to read accurately as far as I can tell, but the boot takes quite a while to read her temperature accurately (like a few hours to adjust- could be contact issue against her skin). App: Again, easy to use. App looks clean and simple to navigate. Easy to read at a glance. Notable drawbacks: The packaging mentions customizable notifications, but there is no place in the app to do so. I’m fairly competent with things of this type so its unlikely that I just missed it. Maybe it’s a planned feature for a future update. The music/white noise selection looks really dated. Like my old lime wire library kind of dated. An update here would be welcome.

Gargage do not buy. I returned mine and also way over priced.
