I wish I haven't read many of the initial reviews for this game. Most of them were really negative and did not really touch on the true content of this game. They just focused on graphical issues. I agree there are some graphical issues and human facial models are ugly. But the story, game mechanics, and everything else is greatly improved over ME: 3. So far I am about 15 hours into the campaign story and enjoying it a lot. If you are a die hard Mass Effect fan, you are going to love this game. It contains hours of content and the story has the same heart and soul that made the first Mass Effect games amazing. I am glad I decided to purchase this game and not listen to those negative reviews.

I love the Mass Effect universe so I thought I would get the game because the price was so low and it came with a free Steelbook case. Well, now I have to use the Steelbook as my main case because the original green plastic one was broken. It normally would be a big deal but it is the part that hold the disk in place. Luckily there were no scratches on the disk though the Steelbook was covered in little scratches.

Since purchasing and playing this game I have seen some reviews where people claim this game doesn't "feel" like Mass Effect or that it somehow tarnishes the series because it is so different. Well, it's not that different, and most of the ways that it is different are positives, item management, armor and customization are all better. Gameplay is classic Mass Effect. If you have played the other entries and someone put a controller in your hand and with no information beforehand told you to play a half hour of the game, you would know it was a Mass Effect game. I am thoroughly enjoying it and have approximately 80 hours into it. I am looking forward to where this series takes us.

Awesome game, side quest may be a little overwhelming, but above all the plot of the story is good, the open world concept is good, I enjoy it every second. Even multiplayer is fun with friends.

I'm a big fan of the Mass Effect series and have played every game from beginning to end I found myself not really into this one as much gave it a once-through and I was done

I enjoy this game. This is my first Mass effect game. I enjoy the story line and all of the side missions. I have not tried the co-op. The game is worth buying if you want a fun RPG.

Overall, really enjoying my time with ME:A. The environments, worlds, and game play are developed with great detail. It's already been said, but the writing and facial graphics could use some polish. Additionally, I wish there were more new races to utilize as playable characters, but the sheer expansiveness of the game and the exploration stay true to the ME roots. The combat is more kinetic and exciting as well.

A completely different story from first 3. The game starts off slow. It then takes off. New crew, new ship, new adventure. A lot of fun for those familiar with original trilogy...

This game is fantastic. I cannot put it down it is great. The game play is the best it's ever been. The stories are engaging and the new crew members are great to get to know.

Yes, the characters animations are not where they need to be, but Bioware already put out the word that an update to help with a lot of the issues is coming, so that aside, the game is EPIC! I played it almost non-stop and even though I beat the main story, I'm still playing it until I do all the side missions I can, and as far as the multiplayer, I have never been a huge fan of its gameplay, I have played it much more than I did with Mass Effect 3. Long story longer, put all the character animations aside, the game is solid, and I you can bypass the 'relationships' if you choose, which I did, worth the play

This game really had some technical issues on launch but they have patched up most of the bad issues and overall it performs decently on my XB1S. Even with all the bad press, if you liked the first three ME games then you should try it, especially now that it can be had at discount prices. I threw a $5 reward at it and paid less than $10. Well worth it.

I really liked the first three Mass Effect games, and this one seems even better. I'm only through the first planet, but so far I have been pleased. No game play issues or noticeable glitches. I read people criticizing the limited facial expressions in the dialogue scenes, but honestly it doesn't seem all that bad to me. If you like the original Mass Effect games, you'll like this one.

If you can get past character models which somehow look worse than they did on Xbox 360 (I thought they actually looked pretty good on that console) and all the bugs, it's still Mass Effect. There are plenty of well documented bugs, but the only one I experienced as a messed up map in the first temple. I like they improved mobility during combat and the ability to respec your skills.

with the new patch that came out today the graphics look great . The story is amazing and i love the gameplay. Just as good as the old mass effects in my opinion.

Huge open world. Good game...only issue i had became some what repetitive

If you are a Mass Effect fan, you will enjoy this game. The story and the characters are very in depth and will get you involved in each of them when playing through. The only FLA, time, is the amount of filler that seems to be present. The amount of useless side quests, or needless scanning for said side quests. The voice work is top as well. Very fun, pure and simple.

Great Graphics and story line. If you like space games you'll love this.

Mass Effect Andromeda is Bioware's fourth entry into the franchise and the first of this console generation. If you have played the previous games you know what to expect. If you haven't be prepared for a sprawling open world action RPG with a branching story line where every decision you make changes the story to come. As with Mass Effect 3 there is also a solid cooperative multiplayer component and if they stick to what they did in ME3 expect plenty of free downloadable content for the multiplayer. A must buy for scifi RPG fans and a great title for FPS & TPS fans too.

Very fun game! Combat is smooth and the story will keep you interested the whole way through. Multiplayer is fun as well, reminiscent of Mass Effect 3.

Great game for anyone who enjoys RPGs and shooters! The combat system is very engaging, and the story keeps getting better the further you get into it.
