For $10 this game is well worth it, not sure why all the hate towards this game. I’m sure If Nintendo made this same game but cartoonish on one of their inferior underpowered consoles it would get a perfect score.

So far so good, about ten hours in at this point and it definitely captures the ME flavor and the thrill of exploration. I enjoy zipping around planetside in the much improved rover, the multiplayer is back and just as addicting, though it seems to be a little laggier than ME3 was. The crew, while smaller, seems to be on par with their complexity, and the weaponry/power kits are larger than anything we've seen so far. A lot of negative reviews surrounding this release but I'm not seeing it.

I'm about 12 hours in so far, and it's been A LOT of fun. The characters are engaging, the quests are fairly deep and the mechanics are well rounded. If you're familiar with the developer, it's more like Dragon Age in space. Which is awesome! It has the deepest RPG elements in the series, the best combat, and tons to explore. They definitely got a lot right, but it not quite in the tier as it's predecessors. Still, a very good game, and a great start for the new cycle of consoles.

Mass Effect Andromeda is a solid game with much to offer. As has always been the case with this Franchise, the newest edition to the Mass Effect saga boasts the ability to craft a unique play through for each individual through the players' choices throughout. Andromeda does not hit the same highs as the original trilogy, but is solid nonetheless. Furthermore, there remains plenty of room to grow the stories and characters of this newest incarnation of the Mass Effect series.

I really liked the first three games but I have no illusion that they were perfect. Still who could help but see the bad press for this game. I believe it has had some patches. I must disclose I have just started and not completed first planet. Doesn't seem quite as good as the other game but no major issues yet. I don't know, but it may be the story /writing but just not as engaging. Still, I waited until game under $20 so I cannot complain too much. So with above disclaimers, I would give good /4 stars if you can get it for under $20, otherwise 3 stars.

The first 2-3 hours of the game are pretty slow. But if you keep digging, you'll find a pretty solid game in Andromeda. It's pretty obvious that the developers focused on the combat in this game. In my opinion, it's the best in the series. It feels quicker, more fluid, and more fun. Every fight is exciting. Ryder's story is very different from Commander Shepard's. It's a tale of discovery and exploration, as opposed to a gritty action-packed space opera. However, there's still a sense of urgency, as Ryder takes on increasingly demanding responsibilities as not only the human Pathfinder, but also as a symbol of hope for the Initiative. Aside from the wonky facial animations that have been memed to death now, the graphics are actually pretty good, especially the environments. Every planet is detailed and picturesque. After roughly 80 hours of playtime, I'd give this an 8.6/10.

The game was really fun despite the negative reviews. The gameplay was a little hard to figure out at first since I've never played any mass effect games, but once you got it down, it was very simple to play the game. The customization was lacking a little in the appearance section since the class I created utilized only one type of armor. That wasn't a problem however as the gameplay, graphics, and story made up for that.

This game got a lot of flack for its animations and cutscenes when it launched but after a few updates — it’s still a great game to be played. Lots to do and great graphics.

I was hesitant to buy Mass Effect Andromeda after the mixed reviews I read online. However, I thoroughly enjoy the game after putting around 30 hours into it. The story line is a little inconsistent or missing details at certain points (especially in regards to the connection to the previous series), moral choices don't seem to have a significant impact, and I miss managing party inventory. But, overall, this is a great addition to the franchise. The open world exploration is more enjoyable and some of the more tedious aspects of ME:II and III were cut out. Combat is more fluid than the previous games and there are some challenging fights (especially some of the side quests). There is still plenty of dialogue to slog through, so you may want to avoid if you don't like speech trees. If you like DA:Inquisition, you won't be disappointed by this game.

very fun game with very good graphics and a very good story

As a die hard Mass Effect fan, I had very high expectations of the game. Although this latest iteration has a great story, I was a bit disappointed in the graphics and facial animations. One would expect that given the time Bioware had to prepare this game, graphics would meet or exceed expectations for a current console game. Nevertheless, this is a must have for any fan of the series!

Game has a great story so far. Good play off of the original mass effect series. Characters look a little like overrated characters with the graphics

Decent game, voice acting is comically bad at times, but a fun game none-the-less. Fun gun battles, beautiful scenery. Wait for a sale and enjoy it!

Was pretty satisfied with this game after they dropped the massive patch to fix the animation bugs and such. Good storyline and characters.

Bought if for the hubby. From what I saw the graphics looked good. I didn’t hear any complaints but he was done with it after a month.

Why so much hate for Mass Effect, this game is really not that bad, it's a new story, new characters based on exploration and colonizing a new world. It took me roughly around 52 hrs to complete, I did enjoy my time with the game, it also has great potential for a sequel. If you can find it on sale it's worth a try, I paid 29.00 dollars for it on sale.

I have been a fan of mass effect for years and I love the series. Story is great and gameplay is good. I was disappointed in the animation and character development. I gave it 4 out of 5. If your a fan this is a must have, but new to the series I would be a little weary. Check out the losers first. I believe they are backwards compatible on the Xbox one.

Mass effect andromeda is an awesome game. Graphics are spectacular, game play is smooth. Plenty of missions to do without feel overwhelmed at the same time. Plenty of upgrades. Story line seems decent. Only problems is the game does has some glitches. Some have been fixed and some continue. Research online for more details. Would recommend this.

I have played the previous titles and enjoyed them. Definitely not the excitement every second type of game, but fun story

ME:A is an excellent entry into the Mass effect universe. There is an amazing story and great characters to dive into. That being said it is not without its faults. Not the prettiest game on next gen consoles and character animations are sometimes awkward. However the shooting/fighting has been improved!! Grab a copy and enjoy!!
