Many praise the remastering effort and the overall value for the price, considering the extensive content offered. However, some customers note the persistence of technical issues and glitches. Three Mass Effect games, all redone with new textures and some gameplay tweaks make this a heck of a deal. Try it out if you’ve ever wanted to give the Mass Effect series a try.

High recommended for old fans and newcomers without PCs. As much as I love Mass Effect 1-3, ME1 didn't age the best even with the updated visuals and gameplay. If you're a newcomer, ME1 isn't the best representation of the entire trilogy.
The cinematography is still 2007 goofy, the dialogue evokes a different era (like watching old 80s movie today), animations are still outdated, and the sound bugs are still present. With that said, I enjoyed the heck out of ME1 as it really brings home what is taking place in this universe. 4k, HDR at 60 fps isn't how I remember this game either!!!!
Just started ME2 and am absolutley blown away how good this looks. Evokes the same feelings experienced when I first played it in 2011 or 12 (don't remember). I actually replayed ME2 in 2017 and it visually didn't stand out to me. So this remaster truly help me relived nostoligia through 2011 eyes.
ME2 is hands down one of the best games ever made. A more personal journey and friendship simulator more than anything. Unlike 1, 2 uses the alien invasion storyline as back ground fodder for your journey while emphasizing the importance of building a team and exploring alien cultures hinted at in ME1. ME2 pretty much introduced culture and the nuances of the universe while ME1 introduced us to the immediate danger of the universe and how humans were viewed throughout the universe.
I expect ME3 to visually blow me away as that impressed me still in 2017. ME3 gets a lot of flak for its final 15 mins and rightfully so, but it works after Bioware reworked it back in the day. This one tries to conclude every storyline that dates back to ME1 and they actually pull it off for the most part. ME3 features the world event plot of 1, while combining the friendship and culture building from 2 into it. I have no idea how they did it, but they did.
Overall, great series that took a dip when Andromeda released. Andromeda stripped away the serious/great tone, writing, and setting of the series. (They tried to CW it, one should never CW their product lol) Hopefully Bioware finds a way to get the series back on track or just make something new. We don't need the soft inclusive edge hinted at in Dragon Age Inquisition and put on full display in Andromeda.

Ignoring the ending of the third game of the trilogy, the story was great. Just the variety of character abilities made the action refreshing.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite trilogy remastered. I loved playing through these three games again, but on PS5. It is such a great trilogy with characters you grow to love and care for. Transferring saves from one game to the next carries all your decisions you made in the last game too, impacting how the some story beats in the next game carry out. If you've never played Mass Effect, I highly recommend this. It's a journey I wish I could experience for the first time all over.

I adored these games when they first came out. Mass Effect 2 is on my short list for best games ever made. This re-master gives them a nice new coat of paint but not much else. The gameplay is still clunky especially in the first game but improves with each game. But the story is why you should buy this game. It is the gaming equivalent of the original Start Wars trilogy. To get all 3 games with all the DLC is a great deal and well worth your money if you are at all a fan of RPG's.

What can I say, Mass Effect legendary edition is amazing with its great characters and a number of planets to travel and have the ability to explore those planets. Throughout the games, your choices decide the relationship of your companions and the people you meet. What I thought was very interesting, were the many alien races you meet on your way and the friendships you are able to make with them. I believe if you are interested in Third person RPG's this game is for you, even if you are not a fan of those, you should still give a try.

I’m very excited to see this update of the original trilogy come to fruition. It’s not only a very revitalized experience, it also brings the series back to the forefront of gaming. The trilogy not only serves older players, like myself, but it also allows a whole new generation of younger gamers to experience these amazing games. I was playing the original Mass Effect before the idea of children was in my brain, and by the 3rd I was playing while parenting - now, my son and I are both experiencing Mass Effect together, and absolutely loving it. For some, this release may come with some gripes towards the aging bod certain aspects, mainly the look of characters in comparison to modern day graphical fidelity - but seeing as this is more a remaster than a remake, there’s a lot to forgive. And for players of the original, these models and graphics will probably look leaps and bounds better. The gameplay is tuned to play a lot smoother, thus feeling up to date with most modern games, if not a little better. What does remain the same has aged rather nicely, none of it really set me back in any of the ways a lot of dated games have when being remade - the team really took the responsibility of balancing old and new devices to heart. And in doing so, this trilogy has really been given another breath of life to continue its legacy (no pun intended), and I hope to see the BioWare team get a chance to revisit the franchise for a new game. Side note: I would love to see EA re-release the Dead Space trilogy in this same manner, as the ME trilogy has proven that there’s a fan base more than hungry for the preservation of older game experiences.

If you didn't play it back on the Xbox 360 or PS3, highly recommend picking up this trilogy. It has all the necessary DLCs, quality of life adjustments for the first game, and is almost seamless when transition from one game to the next, all on one disc. It's an amazing story, offer great roleplaying and player choice, and satisfying combat the further you go in the series.
