A great collectors item but it doesn’t quite close correctly so it’s more for looks.

Great steelcase to an amazing game ! Love the design

I Love this steel book. The artwork is topnotch. The mass effect team on a background of split light and dark really fits this game where choices make a huge impact on each play through. Also, this is one of the few series where a choice made in the first game can make an impact on the ending of the third. Really there are not too many like it, and in my opinion of all the games i have played no one else does this better. The steel book arrived fast and was in perfect condition as always. I have said it before and I will say it again, BestBuy is the go to store for video games and video game preorders. All my future preorders will be through BestBuy.

Sure, the fact that it's just the normal cover art might make it feel less special, but when the normal cover art is *this good*, all I really wanted is a bigger focus on it, and this delivers. It's beautiful, and the center collage has a special reflective shine that's a nice touch. Doesn't have two separate disc slots, but the center peg of the single slot is deep enough that they're supposed to go on top of each other, which works well enough. And it's free? I would have paid for this.

Pre-ordering any game is a tough call. But when the game is Mass Effect and the Steelbook looks this good, its just a win-win. And in the end, it did not disappoint. The art is amazing and captures the essence of the game. As more and more people turn towards digital versions of games, its goodies like these that make you want to buy the hardcopy, just so that you can show off this game as a part of your permanent collection.

An absolutely beautiful, vibrant steelbook featuring some of the most memorable characters of the trilogy. This isn't just a hastily thrown-together pre-order bonus- there's beautiful artwork on the front, back, and inside, and without the distracting console logos, it's on full display. It's hard to believe this was a free bonus! Made for fans of the series, and a must-have in any ME collection.

One of the few times that I've seen a steelbook with the exact same cover design. Which is fine, in that the normal cover is pretty good -- but it could have been an opportunity ala the original Mass Effect 3 cover to provide an alternate design of the two Shepards (or something else).

Back in the day, we used to get really cool collectibles when buying a special edition of a game or a game collection. Wasn’t expecting anything with the purchase of Legendary edition, but was pleasantly surprised with this cool case. It feels weighty and is exactly the kind of showpiece you’d want for a game like this.

This steel book case was a nice addition to my copy of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It's very sturdy and the artwork on the case is beautifully done. When I get a game with a steel case, I definitely keep the game in there instead of the standard plastic case. If you can get a hold of one of these, I recommend it.

Looks exactly like the game case except it's very sleek and shiny. Be aware though the game comes with 2 discs (data disc and game disc) but the steelbook comes with only one place for your discs. You can stack them of course but would've been neat to give you 2 slots like they did for the Cyberpunk 2077 steelbook.

The game itself is amazing and in 4k quality it just brings it to the next level. While the steelbook may not be completely necessary, it sure does look very nice in any fan's Mass Effect Collection. Dare I say, it may even be a better looking case than the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition Steelbook from 2012.

I already had a case for the game so I carried it around, not knowing what I would do with it. Wouldn’t you know, but I got into an argument about Krogan physiology and whether or not the genophage was necessary and the dude tried to stab me. This steel case saved my life and we had a good laugh afterwards.

This was an excellent bonus! I was planning to buy the digital version but when I found this came with a BestBuy perchance I immediately went for it. The artwork is beautiful and the fact that they did not include lettering on this steelbook makes it even better. It is truly a piece of art to display.

What can be said about this... it is a nicely designed metal case that will be stuffed away somewhere, never to see the light of day again... I prefer to use the standard green case and I wish there was an option to get a purchase price discount or to opt out of these useles items altogether.

So happy this series has been remastered. It would've been even better if it was restored with a ps5 update like a few of the popular games. Still it's a worthy buy for anyone who's played the series before and for new players. The steelbook art is also Fantastic.

The steel books has a cool design to it that looks great. It really stands out from the rest of the other steel books that I have. The case is sturdy and high quality. Overall, I think this is an amazing steelbook. I would recommend this to any fan of the Mass Effect.

This is AWESOME for my xbox one copy of the game! same look of the OG case, but it's super shiny and almost holographic. it's so much fun to look at and the texture is really smooth. I'm super happy I was able to unexpectedly get this with my preorder of ME:L!
