    Awesome Bluetooth Headphones

The MW60’s are super high-end headphones with fantastic sound and quite possibly the best build quality of any electronic device I’ve ever used. Extremely stylish over the ear headphones with a stainless steel construction, in a very cool brown leather color. Headband is made from padded leather with stainless steel components. Ear cups are made with lambskin and are very comfortable. All the components are made to fit together well and work as they should. The on-cup playback and pairing controls are easy to learn and positioned perfectly to locate them easily by touch. The headphones do collapse for storage and include a pouch but portability is not the major take away here. The MW60’s are somewhat heavy and bulky and not really headphones you would want to take outside on a run or work outs. More for sitting in your house or doing things inside when you want to listen to music. That being said they are very comfortable to wear for a couple of hours at a time without becoming a distraction. Bluetooth range is fantastic. I can roam all over my house on two floors without any signal loss at all which is quite impressive. I can be sixty feet away from the source device and they work fantastic. Battery life so far is quite good, used them for over seven hours on a few different occasions and still have over 50% battery life remaining. Sound quality of the MW60’s is very impressive as they should be considering the cost. Music was very good with a balanced clear sound to them, not overly bass heavy like some headphones but a good well defined sound without the highs, midrange and bass falling over each over to be heard. Movie soundtracks are really great, voices are clear and easy to understand over the rest of the soundtrack. Even used them with Xbox games and they were great. I didn’t really hear much of a difference in sound quality using Bluetooth or the provided 3.5mm cable but wireless is about being free of the cables so it’s not an issue for me. These headphones don’t have noise cancelling technology but not a deal breaker in my opinion. All in all a fantastic pair of headphones with great build quality and really good sound. They are a bit on the heavy side for use outside or activities but for the purpose they were designed for I don’t think there’s a better set of over the ear headphones available right now.

The build quality on these is bar none. The sound quality is also very good, especially once you break these in. Very good bass response and clear highs. If you like headphones that can get very loud, these are one of the best. Keep in mind there is no noise cancelling. Didn't bother me unless I was walking down the street of a busy intersection. Well worth the price.

Look and feel is amazing, super comfortable too! Unfortunately as soon as I opened the box I noticed the leather(ette?) on the ear pad had stuck to the box and a little ripped when I opened it for the first time. Master & Dynamic were awesome though and sent a replacement pair FOR FREE! Unfortunately shortly after that one ear cup stopped working when I’m BT mode. I ended up exchanging these for the black and silver version after contacting Master & Dynamic again, who told me to keep the replacement ear pads anyway! I have had zero issues with the silver version and have had them for two years now! Rating this pair low in case it’s a bad batch with the all black models. Rating the black and silver 5 stars on their review, because they feel and sound amazing and Master & Dynamic customer service is incredible!!

I honestly did not expect much when I decided to purchase these headphones but they exceeded my expectations! I've had these headphones for about 2 months now and I've used them about every day. The battery life is honestly better than I expected. As long as you remember to charge them once you are done with a listening session you shouldn't have an issue with them dying. The cups are comfortable over the ears but I wouldn't suggest these headphones for extremely long listening sessions of 4 or more hours due to the weight of the headphones. They tend to become cumbersome and uncomfortable after long. When I initially received them I was very underwhelmed but once they were broken in with about 10 to 15 hours of listening the real sound you should expect from these headphones comes out. The main complaint I would have with these is that M&D are very conscious of hearing damage which translates to limiting the volume achievable when using these as wireless headphones. The bass response of these headphones is great for the volume that M&D allows you to listen at. The highs are nice but could be brighter for me. Mids are accurate. What really impressed me was the soundstaging of these headphones. They do a great job of transporting you to the concert of whatever artist you're listening to. One particular track made me think somebody was turning a key to my apartment door about 20 feet away from my desk. The external sound isolation of these headphones is sufficient for the listener. If you tend to listen to these at a high volume in close proximity to others they will be able to hear the song you are listening to relatively easily. As always M&D hit the nail on the head when it comes to build quality of these headphones. Nice premium material used throughout. Overall a great pair of headphones. I think the MSRP on these might be a tad high for what you get but if you could grab these on sale you wouldn't be disappointed with them.

The Master and Dynamic MW60 Headphones are a definite replacement for someone that wants portable studio quality and top notch bluetooth sound. I was very impressed with the packaging of the MW60 headphones, everything was protected and the leather headphone cable container is a beautiful touch. Build Quality is overall amazing, very heavy duty and nice material. The cushions material feel like a soft leather couch on your head, just a little small though. The band is very high quality, stainless screws on the joints, made to last. Sound is amazing, I used my Google Pixel phone and it connected quick and the clear sound was welcoming. The highs are crisp and can be adjust further through the phones equalizer to be loud and still stay very clear. The mid-range is perfect, nothing sounded overly flat or over pronounced. The lows will go low but not drown out the rest, very clean bass. The battery life is amazing as well, I made it through my 10 hour shift without having to charge at lunchtime, very nice to have the big battery. I would have liked to receive a charging block in the box, a lot of companies have stopped giving charging blocks, I cannot have 30 devices charging off my computer. The main issue I had is the comfort, if you have big ears, they may not fit into the cups, mine are close and make it slightly uncomfortable to wear over an hour, I have to constantly adjust them so they feel okay. The price point is fairly high for these in my opinion, I own $100 headphones that fit better and the sound quality is on par with these. If you want the battery life and easy bluetooth connection, these should be a top choice, if you are just looking awesome sound, these may be a little much.

Beautiful styling, very durable long-lasting construction and great sound! These foldable, over the ear headphones with tactile controls are fantastic. They are quite comfortable, even when I wear glasses over extended periods of time. The style is modern yet timeless, using premium luxury leathers; rich cowhide for the headband – soft lamb for the ear pads. The component materials are all high quality stainless steel and other durable premium materials with perfect fit and finish. The sound is very natural with great detailed highs, mids and solid base providing a rich, warm sound with superb noise isolation, maintaining the perfect equilibrium of aesthetics, durability, comfort and functionality. When used with a player’s equalizer they handled a broad selection of musical genres with perfection. The custom antenna combined with Bluetooth 4.1 and Qualcomm® aptX™ with multi-device connection capability provide best in class quality, connectivity and range. Battery life is above average, easily accommodating a full day of pure listening pleasure. Parts like ear-pads are easily replaceable and available on their web site. By the way their website should win a UX design award as it was quite attractive and easy to navigate while still providing all of the info I was looking to obtain. Last but not least their packaging is both functional and stylish. GREAT HEADPHONES!

The microphone quality of this headphone is pretty bad. The sounds signature is suppose to be like the wired version. I think the wired version sounded better. This cans looks good with premium material used. When I purchased this i think it was like $600 it is a bit expensive for how it sounds.

Given the price, these headphones have the best quality in both sound and design out of all my other headphones. To adjust them, they don't click, they slide which could be a problem down the line as they continue to wear and tear. Bluetooth and microphone to make and answer phone calls. Pretty standard with wireless headphones nowadays. With the volume all the way up, it sounds like it would be too loud from and outside point of view, but inside, it's comfortably immersive. Just enough bass and so clear, it's as if you are in the booth listening to the artist lay the track down. The leather exterior along with the cloth charge and aux cords gives it that elegant and sophisticated look and I love that it folds for easy transport. There is a travel pouch for the cords and a sturdy travel bag for the headphones. Keep in mind, there are no special features that these headphones have that other, more affordable headphones don't have. (Except maybe being able to connect to TWO Bluetooth devices at the SAME TIME) You definitely get what you pay for, the handcrafted leather, the rich and clean sound. I would only recommend this to people who have the money.

    Great Set of Cans!

I was so excited and had high expectations when I opened these, and they did not disappoint. The build on these are amazing. No cheap plastic anywhere to be seen. The ear cups are super soft and comfortable to wear, and do a fairly decent job of noise canceling of ambient sound. Also, I wear glasses, and the cups don't put any pressure on them, so I can wear the MW60's without any fatigue. The head band does not slide adjust at all, it just fits right, hard to explain, but works perfectly. Bluetooth was easy to connect and has fantastic range. The sound is great. I like to listen to music un-EQ'd or flat. That being said, these have excellent mids and highs, and there is a good separation of frequencies(not muddy), they just need a little help on the low end(punch). It could be that they need to "break-in". The only reason I took a * away was because of the price. I have other sets of cans that are cheaper that sound better IMO, but nowhere near the quality of build and materials used.

Overall Good Sound, misses some key areas

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Summary: Good set of wireless headphones that are missing some key features. Sounds quality is somewhat variable, but plays high quality songs very well most of the time. If you play a lower quality track or maybe an old song that hasn't been remastered, you will probably notice the loss in quality more than other models. No Noise cancelling. Quality of leather and lambskin is very top-notch. Ear cuffs feel pretty good too. However, the overall feel of the rest of the materials doesn't match the quality of the leather and lambskin. Easy to get started. Flexibility with connections, long battery life. Overall rating 3.8-4.2 out of 5. Packaging/Headphone Quality & Comfortability : The headphones come packaged with detail and care. Accessories have a separate round (and matching) leather case. The packaging definitely keeps the headphones protected. The included carrying case seems the be generic and doesn't match the headphones. Nothing special. Does not reflect the quality of the material used on the headphones themselves. Not very protective either, just something to place your headphones and some accessories in. The headphones themselves are good and bad quality at the same time. The leather and lambskin materials are very nice and feel great. I have the brown headphones and they look really nice because of those materials. You can see and feel the quality. They are also quite comfortable after long periods of use and don't make my ears overheat quickly. They do a good job at breathability. The fit is also really nice. This is obviously very user dependent but the headband is quite flexible and sturdy, so it should accommodate many people. They feel really nice on my head even after long use. This is a high point. However, I am very disappointed in the rest of the materials. The buttons and other supporting structure do not feel high quality and almost cheap-feeling. This is really disappointing since other headphones at this price-point do a much better job, even when plastic is used. The buttons do not feel nice. The button position indicators are painted on and make this look like a cheap knock-off. I'm generally not too picky about this, but I believe this is a huge miss and some users value those details greatly. Features: Overall the features are solid. The biggest miss would be the lack of Noise-Cancelling. Depending on the person this is make or break. For me, I would prefer to have some level of noise cancelling included. I rarely listen to my headphones in a quiet environment at home, so muddling out the outside sounds would be nice. I also enjoy noise-cancelling without listening to anything, for example sleeping or reading on a noisy airplane. Fortunately, the sound level and quality is good enough to take care of this problems in many environments, but not all. For example, big city noise and airports diminish the listening quality. I enjoy the flexibility of using the Aux port if bluetooth is unavailable (or low battery). Omni-directional mic with calling function. Multi-function button is straight-forward to use, but I prefer double/triple taps for track changes, etc versus the hold for a certain time on these headphones. Also works with Siri. Simple and easy micro-USB charging. Folds and rotates for storage. Connection range and strength was excellent at home. Did not notice any problems outdoors. Sound: Definitely has a break-in period. More noticeable on this set than others. I was not too fond of these headphones initially, but they grew on me over time. The sound is clear and holds up at the highest sound levels. It must be clearly noted that the source quality effects the sound quality greatly. This is pretty obvious, but I compared the sounds on this set and another and there was a clear difference. These headphones do not handle lower quality songs as well as other sets in the same price range, especially at higher sound levels. I also found that the vocals on certain songs (this goes double for low quality songs) tends to get washed out by the instrumentals/background/beats. This was not a consistent problem but something I definitely noticed. I connected them to my TV and watch some movies and TV shows. They did a solid job and would recommend for TV/Movie use as well. Bass was pretty balanced on most-songs, and came out with a solid punch on bass-heavy tracks. I really appreciated that. The sound is good and very enjoyable at times. Closing: This is a good set of headphones with some highs and lows. At this price point, I do expect more and would definitely explore other options before settling on this particular model. I know Master and Dynamic makes some really get products, but I would not consider this one of their best. If this is your first high-end set, you'll probably be quite satisfied, but I would advise everyone to explore other headphones as well.
