I will start out by saying i'm a bit of an audiophile, which is why I was kind of excited to try out these headphones. The first thing you will notice when you open the box and pick them up is the amazing build quality of these headphones. They clearly took a lot of time in designing these and used high quality materials. The leather, the stainless tell and aluminum really come together to create a beautiful set of headphones. It would be hard to find a better looking pair of headphones. I know everyone's head is different, but these fit perfectly on my head and were very comfortable to wear. I know they aren't billed as noise canceling headphones, but they did block out a considerable amount of outside noise. Now, getting to the sound quality. I will do this in 2 parts, the wired, and then the bluetooth. I will start with the bluetooth. I found them to sound pretty good when I used them wirelessly. I hooked them up to both my phone and my imac and they had good crisp sound, good bass, and were quite clear and a pleasure to listen to. I was able to get really good range out of them, and found that the battery easily met the 16 hour battery life they said they had, but that of course will depend on what you are playing, the volume and things like that. Next I will get to the wired connection which I was hoping would be amazing...because that is what I listen to most. I hooked it up to my marantz receiver and my turntable and plugged these in waiting for some amazing sound. What I got was a very muddy sound. Lots of low end, very little mids, and almost no high end to speak of. Then I plugged them into my Fiio player...got the same results even after adjusting the EQ. Then I plugged them into my imac and got the same results...even though when I played it through bluetooth on there they sounded fine. OVerall I am pleased with these headphones. Amazing build and design quality and great sound over bluetooth. But if you are looking for a pair of headphones that can be used wired as well, these might not be for you. ...and yes, I plugged my regular headphones into all 3 devices and they sounded amazing...so there is something weird with these when you use a wired connection. I would still recommend them though if you are looking for a high quality set of bluetooth headphones.

When unboxing and handling all of the materials included with this Bluetooth headphone set the first words that come to mind are HIGH QUALITY. This fairly new company out of NYC has done a fantastic job, from the leather case that holds the included cables to the cool stainless steel, aluminum and leather on the headphones it doesn't get much better than this. With that said the sound better match the promise of all of this high end material and design...and I am here to tell you they do not disappoint. The highs are crisp, the bass is tight and not muddy, and they just sound fantastic. You can pair with multiple devices and also use them for phone calls. The battery life is incredible at over 16 hours. All of this quality built in does come at somewhat of a cost as they are a bit heavier than other over the ear headphones but I didn't mind that at all as they feel so substantial when holding and using that I am ok with it. They also are not noise cancelling which some folks do look for. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who is looking for uncompromising sound and quality in Bluetooth headphones, you will not be disappointed and will enjoy these for years to come.

These headphones are absolutely astounding. Build materials and quality are all high-end and include a leather wrapped headband, stainless steel hinges and slides, and lambskin wrapped memory-foam ear pads which are magnetically attached and easily replaceable. The controls are all clearly marked and have a solid, positive feel. Overall functionality and performance are all fantastic as well. Bluetooth pairing is easy to operate and range is very good. Battery charging uses a standard micro-USB and battery life will get you through more than a day's work. And if you do run the battery down, you can use the included aux cord to physically connect to your device and continue to listen to your media. And the sound quality will satisfy even the most ardent audiophile; highs are crisp, vocals clear, and the bass rich and deep. There is no aspect of these headphones that will disappoint.

Wow, I love these headphones, my Bose quiet comfort headphones are now officially collecting dust. These do not have noise cancelling but once the music start it seems like they do. Okay first off one of the things I love is quality packaging in high end gear. They did not fail me in packaging, excellent job with a high end feel at every aspect even the thick cellophane encasing the box. A nice pouch is included as well as a small round leather box to hold the cables. They arrived with plenty of juice to hook them up and go to town. I wasn't able to connect them to my Pixel but it may be due to a software update or something, I will delve into that later. I fired up my mini and started up a movie first, not my usual way to watch a movie or TV but pretending I was traveling and it sounded great. Pandora was next. I hit shuffle and closed my eyes. I listened to music for a good hour and it didn't matter what type of music I tossed at it, I was not disappointed. I fired up a few games and made a few calls with no issues. These headphones do have a heft to them but I prefer the solid quality and its worth the extra weight. Cheap plastic headphones just don't hold up. I can see these being around for a very long time as long as the battery can be replaced in the future. My wife tried them out and didn't want to give them back lol. I can't see doing any strenuous activities with these on, but if you want to chill out, have a cocktail and get away for a bit than these are a must buy. If you enjoy un-packaging amazing items and the smell of fresh leather that these are also for you. Forgot to mention the buttons. They are minimal and sleek. i love em. The entire package is great and you won't go wrong with purchasing a set.

    Gorgeous Luxury BT Headphones

When I first opened these headphones, my first thought was, "Wow; these look amazing." I was excited and could hardly wait to really try them out. Master & Dynamic is relatively new to the high-end audio world, but they certainly belong in the discussion about top headphones. Let's start with appearance. The MW60 is an over-the-ear style BT headphone. Construction is all metal and leather; there is no plastic to be found. The ear pads are made with lambskin and memory foam. They are incredibly comfortable. The headband is covered with premium grade cowhide. The frame is stainless steel and the ear cups include machined aluminum antennas built in, which gives you massive BT range. I cannot overstate how attractive the MW60 is. This is a seriously beautiful pair of headphones. Even the little details speak of luxury. The folding stainless steel hinges are smooth and high-quality. They allow you to fold up the MW60 for travel. The metal arms have ruler marks etched into them so you can know exactly what sizing fits your head best. The included cable, which allows for passive listening, is wrapped in braided cotton - yet another luxury touch that also aids in cutting down noise in the cable. All that is very nice, but the big question with headphones is how they sound. In that respect, the MW60 also shines. First, connecting via BT 4.1 was quick and easy, and the connection was strong and did not fade during use. M&D says the BT connection uses Aptx high quality audio. My son helped me test the MW60. I consider myself an audiophile, but my son has a more refined ear than I do for picking up on the most minute of subtleties in music. We both came away very impressed. The sound field is rich and pure, thanks to the huge 45mm Neodymium drivers. Bass is punchy without being over-the-top. Highs are clear without distortion. Different instruments are clearly separated in every style of music we tried - and we tried pretty much everything. The sound is clear, rich (but not over saturated), and incredibly detailed. The only mild complaint we had was that the sound field didn't seem quite as rich with certain types of big stadium style music, maybe something like Coldplay. By no means does that mean it sounded bad. Quite the contrary, it was still excellent, just not quite on par with how well the MW60 handled all other styles. Many expensive headphones are great for one or two styles of music. The MW60 truly is the most versatile BT headphone I've tried in terms of how accurately it reproduces a wide range of sound. The separation of sounds, particularly in the mid ranges, is spectacular. The headphones arrived almost fully charged. They last basically 12-16 hours on a charge, which is pretty strong. They charge via standard micro-USB charger. Given the construction is all metal and leather, they are a little heavier than some others. But they are also the most comfortable headphones I have worn. The weight was not an issue. Controls are built into the frame of the ear cups. They work immediately and without lag. Once you get used to placement, they are easy to locate. The omnidirectional microphone works well, but it lacks a second mic, which would help with canceling ambient noise. Which brings me to the only complaint I have: I wish the headphones included the option for active noise cancelling technology. Luxury does not come cheap. If you do not need a noise-canceling headphone, I highly recommend these to you. The MW60 offers a first-class experience in terms of presentation, appearance, comfort, quality, and sound.

The MW60 are a bit of a quandary to me. They want to be high-end headphones, but for what market? For people who travel, audiophiles, or just the average music listener? Well, I can say with certainty that the MW60 do not really work completely for any one of those groups. For me they are closest to the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0s. Wireless headphones with good sound. That's just it, the MW60s sound good, but not great. The catch here is that the Momentum's have a longer battery life, active noise cancelling, are lighter, and considerably cheaper. There's the rub. The MW60 offers a nice balanced sound, but without active noise cancelling they miss the mark for travel. The cups sealed well and were comfortable for long use, but not well enough to drown out plane drone. They are also just heavy enough that the top strap starts to hurt my head after prolonged use. The overall fit & finish is top notch certainly, but there are better headphones in this price class for both audiophiles and travelers. This leaves the average music listener. Frankly, unless you have deep pockets and just want something less mainstream I can't imagine why you would buy these. As I stated previously, Sennheiser & Bose offer similar sound for less money and generally more features.

    Top tier cans

I’ve read some reviews that weren’t too flattering. I don’t get it. The build quality is only rivaled by B&W for the price point. The construction of these cans justify a portion of the price due to longevity. I cannot imagine you’d have to replace these for years to come. As for sound this headset probably ranks near the best you’ll get for your dollar. The bass is actually great. If you want more bass then you’re not looking for quality sound. The bass is rather heavy. Anything more will probably muddy the sound. The highs leave something to be desired for my taste. I prefer the highs on the B&W PX. However, the MW60 hold their own. Bottom line they aren’t an item I’d pay $500 for because I’m not rich. But definitely worth the same price point the PX, HD1, or even the Bose 700’s

I was hesitant to purchase these cans as they were well above my initial price range. However seeing them in person completely changed my mind. They are extremely beautiful and comfortable. You can really feel the build quality if you test them out in store. I was blown away at the sound. Its very warm and balanced. Could not ask for a better overall experience. I know they are expensive but worth every penny. Its a quality product that looks as good as it sounds. Im glad I spent the extra cash because I know that these will last a lifetime. Def recommend if you are looking for a legit pair of headphones.

Got it yesterday at a great price. returned it today. Compared the audio quality with AirPods 2 and really nothing better honestly. Sennheiser PXC 550 is way better if you are looking for around ears. Max volume wasn't impressive on these. Bass was ok...nothing impressive. When you use Sennheiser, you will feel the oomph factor...this one did not blow me away. I really wanted to love it. below is my rating:- Packaging - 10/10 build and Materials - 10/10 comfort and feel - 10/10 Sound quality when it works - 8/10 Issues: 1. Paired it with iPad Pro 11" and iPhone X - adjusted volume to 0 in music app, you hear beeps and then the connection is completely lost. have to go back into settings 2. Youtube on iPhone X and iPad Pro 11" - very strange volume behavior. heavy lag when you adjust the volume. reduce to min and lost connection. audio choppy. restarted the headset - slight consistency. lost connection after volume adjustment 3. Volume buttons - you press them in succession, it won't turn up or down the volume. you have to go click...wait...click ... wait. Cant go "click click click" quickly 4. Turned on after a while, same issues continued. noway to update firmware. no customer support number to call. have to fill a form to sent a customer service request with serial number and all...come on.. for a 400$ headphones, you should have a #. ready to give sr number when asked. I feel the bluetooth 4.1 may be misbehaving on latest digital devices ? not sure what it is...but it was un-usable unfortunately. I cannot recommend this to anybody based on my experience. if those issues are resolved, i would say 280$ is okay...but there are headphones with same or better quality audio today in the market. You will be paying for excellent build quality...not audio quality.
