I previously owned a 6.5 qt CrockPot for nearly 14 years, then it gave out on me 3 weeks before Christmas! I needed to replace it....ASAP. I searched online for something comparable and/or bigger, with an extra feature or two. Many stores were sold out of slow cookers....Online, too! Best Buy was my last resort; but, shouldve been my first search site. Although this wasn't available in store, BB was able to Ship to Store for pick-up in less than 10 days - several days before Christmas!! =D. Per the instructions, I primed the slow cooker before cooking my 1st meal. This slow cooker keeps the food steaming HOT, even in the timed Warm setting. Moreover, whiIe being transported for over an hour, the food was still steaming hot, when I arrived at my destination. I liked the idea of the locking lid, so that I can carry/transport to another location. However, I gave only 4 stars due to the locking lid being a bit inconvenient for serving. The lid would not balance or sit in the open position long enough, before popping back into the latches and then you'll have to unlock each side INDIVIDUALLY. Not the best, when you have multiple people opening and covering, to serve themselves. The manual shows that the locking mechanism can be removed from the lid - but I needed to keep it on, for transporting. I guess I'll just set the lid aside and use a makeshift foil cover, until I can find a alternate cover. In spite of that, this one is a keeper, as my 1st entree cooked in this resulted in moist and tender meat. Although it looks compact, this slowcooker can hold a lot. I look forward to locating additional accessories, etc.

I had been looking for a bigger slow cooker and when I saw this one I purchased it. It has been great, cooks evenly and the timer is perfect.

I bought this as a gift and can not give a fair reveiw because I have not used this item, it was the only one I could find that is this large

Great product. Looks good. Having the locking glass lid is great, specially when moving pot and not having to worry about it falling.

This crock pot large in size 8+ qt, large enough for a family with guests, sleek looking black and silver, digital controls, really and updated version of older looking crockpots, prepare before leaving house and return home to a ready stew
