We were replacing a microwave that was from 1990. This one was exactly the right size for the space. It is easy to use and well worth the money.

Was exactly what I needed. I’ve always been a fan of Maytag so I continued along those lines again. I had one minor problem in that when the unit would start, it would stop 3-5 seconds after. I finally figured out the problem. It’s a safety mechanism. If the door is not completely shut, it will shut itself down. So bottom line, it wasn’t a problem with the unit itself, it was that I had not leveled the unit properly causing the door not to close in its entirety. Consequently, it triggered the shut down. I call it “user error”. After re-adjusting the unit, all good. Thanks Maytag & Best Buy for offering to exchange the unit if I wasn’t completely satisfied. That speaks volume & any future purchases will always be through them. Thanks again!

Sharp looking, sleek design, roomy. I like the stainless interior and the push button for opening.

It is a bit big in box but make sure you take a truck to pick it up. It’s pretty big for a microwave but makes your kitchen pop.

Good features, stainless interior, slightly more room. Just what I wanted with a great deal. Overall very satisfied.

We love this, and recommend it. We saved a little money by installing it ourselves. I'm not sure that was the wisest choice but we worked it out. It was worth it seeing my husband set up little jacks (like car jacks) to hold it in place while he adjusted it. The installation was straight forward we just needed to handle the weight. Any way we recommend it.

I have only had this microwave for two weeks. So far I am very happy with its performance and appearance in my kitchen.

I've only just purchased this, but have done enough research that I'm certain without a doubt that I now own the best microwave available. Having a 10 yr warranty on the Magnetron was the deal sealer. I purchased this Maytag microwave soley by online shopping, never seeing it. After bringing home and inspecting for any damage, I was shocked when I saw the interior, even though I had seen it on the screen. It truly looks like a machine on the inside, stainless steel, serious business. I know I won't ever have a bag of popcorn scorching the white paint of my microwave again! For anyone who is in the market for a microwave, don't make a purchase until you at least go and inspect this unit. I believe you'll be sold on it also!... I'll update when my kitchen is completed and I've been able to try out a few of the different specialties this offers as well as how the cooking differs.

We bought this microwave because so far as I can see Maytag is the only one that has the stainless steel inside. The cleanability factor was number one for us. We also wanted a microwave with a push button open rather than a handle that would make the unit stick out even further from the cabinets. This thing has loads of room and was a great value as well. I would highly recommend.

Bigger and quieter then the one I had in the past .much faster. heat is very strong.

This Maytag 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave works perfectly and looks great over our stove. I love that it has no handle & I don't have to worry about someone pulling down on the door. The Best Buy installer was quick, efficient and demonstrated how easy it works.
