The fridge is just the right size for our condo. I like that the door hinges can be switched to the opposite side…it was a little time consuming but I managed to get it done. I hope that this fridge will last a little longer than our previous one, I guess that’s what warranty is for.

Just what I wanted. A basic unit, adjustable shelves. Not much to break 5 years down the road. Easy to clean and no handles to bang into, when moving around in the kitchen.

So disappointed in Maytag as the deli drawer has a bad design defect and constantly falls off the tracks and have had a designated Whirlpool repair service out and cannot seem to get it fixed. Because the unit is next to the wall, the door does not swing out wide and it is almost impossible for me to get it back on the track - such a struggle. Now the freezer is not cooling correctly and waiting on that to be repaired. I am older and have saved to buy this refrigerator as I hoped to have the peace of mind of a brand new reliable product , but not so, and I do not believe there is a permanent fix for the deli drawer and when my one year warranty is up, I am stuck with a defective product and no peace of mind. Then, what next will go wrong with it? Since it is a design defect Maytag, which is a Whirlpool product, should make this right and other reviews have also indicated problems with the deli drawer.

Pros: It keeps food cold. Has a large capacity. Well-lit inside. Cons: Cheap shelving easily falls off track, Shelves are not level (no way to adjust them). The main thing is it's ridiculously loud. We finally had a factory service person come out and they were able to quiet it down a bit by adjusting the position of some tubing that was vibrating off of other components. So quality is the issue.

First off , Maytag takes awhile to arrive , it’s pretty roomy , the full slide in meat and cheese bin is nice , but you will definitely have to put gallons in door , it took a little getting use to , I went with the white finish, I know it’s trending to go stainless steel , but if I want feel like I’m in a surgical room or industrial place , I don’t , that’s just my thought, the exterior is finished in a smooth as glass finish no little dimples, love it , cleans easy , and the no door handle as they are on the side , it takes about a day to get use to it , then your like , why aren’t they all like this , no handle to clean around , and you don’t yank on it , perfect if you have kids, the freezer light is bright , and wonderful , I don’t think I could go without that feature ever again, it does not come with ice maker , so I put one in , whirlpool owns Maytag so , that’s the one you get , it’s makes lots of ice fast , and we use up some ice , and we haven’t ever ran it out, this is the 20 cubic ft , sometimes these reviews get messed around, I bought it in a bundle pack , fridge , dishwasher/ because it still uses the disposal, no filter to clean , perfect and there basic microwave , it does fine , light on microwave a little to far back but ok , all in all it’s the Cadillac of appliances as far as I’m concerned , you can pay more for others , but your just paying more , and I didn’t get paid to write this , I get 25 Best Buy points , may is Maytag month , that’s when to buy

SO FAR SO GOOD. THIS UNIT IS REPLACING A SUB-ZERO BUILT-IN THAT WAS 28 YRS. OLD AND NO LONGER WORKING. IT WAS NOT WORTH REPAIRING. I LOVE THE SHALLOW DEPTH [31 INCHES] AND THE FULL CUBIC SIZE OF THIS UNIT. THE LIGHTING IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER IS IDEAL. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS EXCEPT THE FRONT PANELS WERE COVERED IN FINGERPRINTS AND ONLY STAINLESS STEEL POLISH WOULD REMOVE THEM. THE POLISH KEEPS FINGERPRINTS AT A MINIMUM. I PURCHASED THE MONOCHROMATIC TO AVOID THIS PROBLEM BUT IT DOES NOT. HOPEFULLY THAT WILL BE MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THIS UNIT AND I CAN LIVE WITH THAT.

It is a nice refrigerator and fits perfectly where I needed it. Some reviewers said it’s noisy, but I don’t find it to be so. Others say the deli tray is flimsy and it is somewhat but if you’re gentle with it works fine there’s not a lot of height in between the shelves, but other than that, I am pleased with it.

The interior is roomy and fairly easy to configure for ease of access. Invest in additional trays to make items on shelves and in the freezer easier to access. Operation is fairly noisy. The deli tray is a major source of frustration. It drops readily out of its tracks and is difficult to reinstall.

We love the refrigerator. We have had it almost 2 years now and we still love it. Nice and large, easy to see everything inside. Easy to keep clean. Lots of storage.

Cheap and flimsy! You can't fit a turkey on any shelf in this fridge or freezer. If you could the shelf would break. I have never owned a Maytag. Sales associate said this was better than my usual brand. This was not true! Buyer's remorse 100%. If you don't use it, it's probably decent (just look at it and pretend it is good). Color is off (not true stainless), drawers don't close properly, shelves are bending. I wish I bought what I wanted instead of this.

It’s roomy but makes a lot of noise. I love the glass shelving! The freezer is so spacious too!

I had a Maytag refrigerator since 1985 and it finally broke. I do not believe this new refrigerator will last a fraction of that time. It’s made drain noises since being installed, the plastic is very thin and the refrigerator is smaller and lower to the ground. The freezer is larger.

This Maytag refrigerator was chosen because of the features and size closest to the 15 year Maytag it is replacing. Space in the kitchen is minimal and the Whirlpool version didn't have the same features for what was needed. Everything is cold and working great.

One of the features that drew me was the long, slim deli drawer. The problem is that the drawer does not hold much without falling off the track. It also minimizes what you can put on the middle shelf and makes it difficult to sees what in the back of the middle shelf. I've also found some puddles of water inside the refrigerator. Still watching that one as I cannot tell where it's coming from just yet. It took a LONG time to get the fridge, and it was awful trying to schedule with Best Buy.

Disappointing machine. NOISY when defrosting cycling, which it does all the time. The 'deli drawer, is terrible. Poorly designed, cheap piece of dung. I expected more from Maytag. I would not recommend or buy again. Buyers remorse can be found here.

I was looking for a basic refrigerator, and this exceeded my expectations. The refrigerator has clean lines, good interior lighting, and spacious shelves. The top freezer is larger than my previous unit, and has a removable shelf. The ordering and delivery went smoothly, as well. The first unit I ordered would have fit into the space, but not through any doorway to the kitchen. When I called to cancel delivery, the agent was very responsive, and found the right unit for me when I did not see it online. I didn't even know Maytag made refrigerators! The delivery team was friendly and well-prepared. they measured the passageways, removed the old unit, and installed the new unit, and were done in 10-15 minutes. It was altogether a very good experience!

Spacious and bright. Easy to clean. Crispers are a little smaller than I like, but still large enough to hold 6 heads of lettuce. Very quiet, I never hear it running unless everything else is off.

This product is cheaply made. So disappointed in Maytag. Obviously standards have dropped. The meat and vegetable drawers do not fit probably n fall off the tracts. Cheap plastic!

Looks great, and functions well for the most part, but there is an almost constant buzz that drives me crazy. And the extra wide cheese drawer falls out constantly. Also, when I switched the hinge side, the gasket no longer sealed to the fridge. I used a blow dryer to soften the gasket and fix it, but still.

Absolutely love this fridge. Got exactly what we wanted. Having a light in the freezer has made it easier to find what I need. The drawers slide in and out with no issues. We love the look of the glass shelves. We also had it delivered and setup and it was well worth it. The guys who delivered were friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase
