Very poor water and ice dispenser design! The water dispensing nozzle is situated so that drips go down the front of the door rather than into the drip tray. (Photos below). Cups over 6” are impossible to put ice into, and equally as frustrating is not bumping the water unintentionally, and either results in a mess. We returned.

I love this refrigerator!!! It has great space, I love the ice maker and water dispenser all for a good price.

Horrible Product...Ice release door leaking...Changed by Maytag. Next, condensation appears on water dispenser inset. Maytag changes door change. Condensation appears again. This is a Lemon. This product deserves negative stars.

I love my fridge. I can see everything in it!! I am glad that I chose this on!!!

I normally don't do reviews but I felt I should let someone know. This fridge does not have customizable shelves. You can not make one section taller and others smaller. It makes it hard for short people to put the large things on the large shelf that is on top. Also, the drawers and storage on the doors are a thin plastic. I'm just waiting for one of them to break. You also have to watch what you put on the top shelf in the back. If you get it too close to the cooling unit it will freeze what you have next to it. The things along the back shelf and to the right the things don't get cold. I've only seen this happen on the top shelf though. The ice maker dispenser is in a funny area. If you don't push the ice nozzle just right, you will get squirted with water. I will never rely on descriptions from the internet before I purchase a fridge. I should have went and looked at this model in person before I purchased. What is really bad is that I waited 2-3 months before it even arrived.

I really like the look of this fridge and others mentioned the shelves are not customizable, but everything fits perfectly for me. My complaint is this is the loudest fridge ever. It roars constantly and you can even hear it in the other room. Also it says 3 is the setting for fridge and for canned drinks to get as cold as they should be we have to put the setting on 5. So far no issues with ice maker like others have but I’ve only had it a couple weeks

I really like this refrigerator. I love the side-by-side and they have deep shelves. And the lights are set up properly so you can see everything in the refrigerator. The one improvement I would ask for is the lover for the icemaker is a little low for large cups

Had to send the first one back! Yes brand New~ second one seems to be better and quieter! Not happy about having to get another BRAND NEW Fridge! We will see how good this one does! Wish they had separate Ice and Water sections! You touch the water by accident all the time getting the Ice and Water on the floor all the time!

I did not purchase from Best Buy, but did purchase this exact model from a different supplier. Within one full year of purchase, the compressor died. Calling for repair was the worst experience ever. Over 2 1/2 hours to finally get someone to come out. Putting the Maytag name on this piece of junk is insulting. I know that all refrigerators nowadays are substandard, but Maytag is the absolute worst. Never thought I would say that. Have loved the brand for many years. Sadly, this is a new day. Stay away from this model…please.

Honestly regretting buy this refrigerator. For the first 8 months it works great however once I hit the 9 month mark it stopped cooling. Had to wait a whole week to get somebody from the warranty to come out just for them to tell me the whole compressor went out. Even better yet, I would have to wait another two week to get the compressor in since they don’t have the part in stock. Once the new compressor was installed, the tech let me know to wait 4-5 days to fill it up. Noticed that the ice marker wasn’t producing ice like it was before but decided to wait to see if maybe it needed some time to get the temperature right or something. On the 5th day put some chicken in the freezer to see if it would freeze it and woke up to the chicken still unfrozen. I bought a thermometer to check the internal temperature and the lowest it goes up to is 42°. Now called the warranty again to let them know of the issue on a Friday scheduled me for Monday from 8am-4 pm only to get another call letting me know the earliest they can get to me is now Tuesday on thanksgiving week. Asked if they can just replace the whole refrigerator since we are having this issue with such a new refrigerator and they let me know we haven’t gone through the proper steps to get a full replacement. Crazy how the whole compressor going out and them replacing it with a new one and that one going out is not enough to replace this refrigerator yet. Save you money and dont get this one.

Great fridge, but disappointed I was not told that it would take 24 hrs for the fridge to get to the right temperature. I don’t have another freezer so my meats are already defrosting, so frustrating.

Ever since we bought this fridge we have had issues with the ice shoot. Ice will get stuck in the door flap and eventually turn to water and leave a puddle on the floor. In order to prevent this, after getting ice, you need to put your hand up the shoot and pull out the stuck ice. This isn't too challenging for my wife but I have fairly large hands and half the time I accidently hit the water button which then water comes out and goes all over the floor. We have called Maytag's service dept. Multiple times and they have sent someone out three times now to repair the issue. It is still not working correctly and they refuse to refund our money. Not only will they not refund our purchase, they are condescending while on the phone and rude. I will never buy another Maytag product as they don't stand behind their products. We have our 4th repair visit schedule at this point which is absurd and forces us to step away from work to be home for this repair visits.

The compressor continues to run until the door is opened. The doors are misaligned, and the refrigerator door can be opened with one finger; no suction at all.

Ice maker stopped working and they don't have the replacement parts to fix it.

Nice fridge for the money - very sleek and attractive design

Ice maker gets jammed then all the ice melts out. It makes the loudest humming noise. I hate this refrigerator so bad.

Used Best Buy outlet. Good experience with them helpful during search and careful with loading. The refrigerator itself had some minor dents, but has worked well over the past month. Has nice size and holds a lot of ice.

Good refrigerator at good price, good features and size.

The simple purchase of a refrigerator almost two months ago has resulted in an ongoing nightmare that is yet to end. Three purchase attempts that ended with no deliveries because of a variety of excuses from the delivery company. One attempt ended in damaging the water line forcing a shutdown of the entire water supply and the delivery company left. Best Buy promised to pay the plumber’s fee but weeks later, no reimbursement received. The fridge finally delivered was the wrong model which I accepted out of complete frustration. The final deliver people (after many attempts) were great…

Works well. A little noisy. Water dispenser is good size.
