This was a great purchase. After lots of research I am glad I chose this one!

Quiet and cleans well. Not crazy about the top controls, but got used to it.

It performs perfectly, glasses sparkle and it's much quieter than expected!

You offer a 30 day replacement. Your technition thinks you connect the water, electricity. discharge hose, shove it in the space and screw it to the counter top. no leveling is required, the washer does not have to be square with the cabinet.! Since you take a week to come back and REINSTALL the washer perhaps you should change that 30 days to 15 just to make sure you never have to replace one.

Decibel level is not too loud considering the price.

Seems to work fine. Won't be sure until it gets several years old.

Worked great, a little louder than expected but far quieter than our older model. After 2 weeks began to leak water around the door. Hopefully it is a fluke! Will need to be returned and replaced,

so far we like it. the stainless looks amazing in our kitchen.

An adhesive failure on 2 machines left us with water all over the floor. Switched to a different vendor the third time around. Added to our frustration was a 2+ week wait to get replacement machines installed. All total we were without a working dishwasher for almost 2 months. It was a very disappointing experience with both Maytag and the Best Buy Appliance sales staff. The actual installer was great on all three installs.

Our previous Kitchenaid dishwasher lasted 19 years, used an average of once per day for family of 5. We wore out a few choppers and one motor along the way, but that was likely our fault for not first rinsing; hard stuff like seeds, bones, or even broken glass would get grinded in chopper. After the 2nd motor wore out (its rubber spindle gear that runs the chopper wore out) we wanted something similarly tough, also with a chopper. The new machines mostly have a filter instead of chopper, where the filter must be cleaned regularly (weekly?). I'm not comfortable with cleaning water recycled through a dirty filter each day for a week or more until the filter is cleaned, in case chicken bones or something nasty is in the filter. The Maytag is made by Whirlpool, as was our previous Kitchenaid. It appears to share many features, including the garburator/chopper which the Maytag has. I understand the new Kitchenaids have no chopper; instead uses a filter. We have now been using the Maytag almost daily for 10 months, before writing this review. It cleans perfectly (provided it isn't over-loaded), stacks well, and is much quieter than our previous machine. We can barely hear it running. The only issue I've noticed, is that it takes longer to run a normal cycle with sanitary & hi-temp turned on, at about 3hrs, 18 mins. Our previous machine, with similar settings, took about 2hrs and cleaned about the same. My research shows that the newer machines are built to use less water and power, but somehow must run longer to achieve the same cleaning results as before. I think consumers are looking for lower power, noise, and water usage; so manufacturers are trying to find efficiency at the expense of convenience. We run the thing overnight anyway, when local energy costs are the most cheapest, so the longer run time doesn't really bother us. The other issue I've had was during shipping to the store where I picked it up; the box was dragged at some point and torn. We took it anyway, and found that whatever tore the box had extended into the box and had also caught & mangled the edge of rubber door gasket. I didn't want to wait for another machine (who knows what damage it would arrive with) so I went to a repair outlet and bought another gasket and installed it myself (took a few minutes). BB refunded me the money for the gasket. The gasket from our older Kitchenaid was the same however I decided to go for a new one. The countdown timer that this machine has, similar to our previous Kitchenaid, is a big plus. I installed the unit myself, and made sure I looped the drainage hose as high (under the counter) as the top of nearby sink; so water draining from the sink won't make its way into dishwasher through the connecting drain hose. I also made sure the drain hose is connected above the water trap under the sink, to avoid any foul odors backing up into dishwasher, as another poster has reported. Overall, very pleased with the dishwasher. Hope we get at least 10 years with it.

Top rack is disappointing, though. Not much usable space.

I love the fact that this dishwasher does not allow fingerprints to stick on the stainless steel! I have little ones and this is a big convenience. I love the free installation and it’s quiet as ever. Super easy to use and the dishes are spotless. I love the heavy duty racks, a lot of dishwashers have cheaper plastic inside pieces. Mine did leak at the bottom but I realized it was because a screw wasn’t tightened down all the way. Easy fix!

I got this dishwasher,looks great, however, one big problem...when you load the dishwasher, all the dishes lean toward the front of the dishwasher, therefore the dishes don't get clean. I sent a email and didn't hear, so my husband called maytag and the person told my husband we must send a picture to them so they can help!! We can't do that,so what is our next option??? This is my 2nd request!

I will never buy a Maytag again. The dishwasher broke down in less than 2 years. The control panel needs to be replaced.

door does not seal properly allows steam to exit while running and drips on the floor

Leaked twice since installation 3 weeks ago, out of service 6 days in 3 weeks SO FAR due to unavailable geek squad. Geek squad and Best Buy could not care less, Staff including a supervisor has told me how things are going to be for scheduling service. First and LAST purchase from Best Buy........Suggest looking at something other than Maytag

Our previous dishwasher was a maytag. We had it for 20 yrs. It worked but would sometimes leak. We decided to buy a new one instead of having it fixed. Big mistake. The new one is not designed to hold as many dishes as my older one. The new one was defective and had excessive soap in it even when I didn't add any soap. We returned it. Wish a woman could design the interior.
