This dishwasher gets the job done. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles that will never get used. Its quiet and very efficient. My husband is an electrician, and said the installation was very straightforward.

We just bought this Maytag dishwasher, and it is fantastic. Extremely quiet and cleans the dishes great. The salesman was very helpful and caring. The only downside was the third party they use to install the dishwasher. The man they sent did not seem to want to be here. He came in, looked at the old dishwasher, and said the new floor we had installed was too tall and we would need to remove a few boards so he could remove the old dishwasher. So I called the man whom installed our floor. He came out, looked at the dishwasher, raised the two front legs, and we removed the old dishwasher. Called Best Buy back to arrange a new install date and they said it would be over a week. So I got some help and installed myself. The manager at the Douglasville Ga store was very helpful getting the install price refunded. Best Buy should find a new third party install company.

Wanted to wait for a few months to give honest review. So here goes.
Pros:
Very quite for price range
Has a lower top rack so fitting taller items such as wine glasses is far easier
Has multiple heat and wash settings
If nothing is on bottom will get everything very clean
Has lock button for curious toddlers and children
Cons:
If you have a larger item, may not fully clean dishes
Heat settings can add a lot of time
If you have soap residue from Pre-soaking your dishes it can trigger dishwasher to stop with a error.
Overall over the last 5 months I’ve loved this dishwasher. Use it apx 5/7 days a week and works great.

A great addition for our kitchen. Runs smoothly and it puts my last dishwasher to shame. Does the job of getting the dishes clean and that is an A+ in my book. Really it is very quiet and looks esthetically pleasing to the eyes. No complaints. Easy to operate too. You will be happy if you decide to buy this one.

This machine really cleans! And it is very quiet! The first few times I had to place my ear on the front of it to hear if it was working. We have a large, open kitchen/family room. We can't hear it at all from 12 ft. away, so it doesn't require turning up the volume on the TV.
Some of the items that I previously had to wash by hand because the DW didn't clean were: knives with peanut butter residue, pots with stuck-on goo, film from fruit smoothies. The communication and responsiveness of Best Buy was very good. We have had it over 5 weeks and are still in love with it!

This dishwasher has been excellent so far and I would definitely recommend it. My favorite feature is the built in food disposer which gives me two major advantages one: I do not have to pre-rinse dishes before putting it in the machine just toss them in and let the machine do all the work for you. Two: it requires little to no manual cleaning. I tested this feature multiple times by putting heavily soiled pots and pans in there and I was very impressed when they all came out squeaky clean. Plus an added bonus, it was capable of achieving these results while utilizing the least amount of water. I also love that the inside of the tub is stainless steel and I love the front controls since I do not care for the hidden controls. My biggest complaint and the reason this model lost a star is because of the exposed heating element which is a major disappointment given that most dishwashers today even the least expensive ones have a hidden heating element. Also, for a mid-priced dishwasher, I wish it had a third rack because it can be difficult to accommodate large utensils and many do not get cleaned thoroughly due the minimal space in the silverware rack. Another major con is the lengthy normal wash cycle which can last nearly 3 hours so I prefer to use the quick cycle which cleans just as well but uses a little more water. Overall if your in the market for a new dishwasher, this model deserves to be at the top of your considerations list.

Was looking to just repair my Kitchenaid which was super quiet, but after months on no parts opted to buy . Well Kitchenaid was much too expensive. We have an openfloor plan so a quiet DW was important. We opted for this Maytag due to its features, full stainless tub and low decibel rating. Great DW so far , cleans really well and is much quieter than the rating they gave, only hear gentle 'whooshing' of water( not loud or disturbing at all) Very happy with it so far. Does take 2 3/4 hours to wash on normal, about half that on quick wash.

This was super easy to install, runs like a (quiet) champ, and it fits a 20 quart AND a 16 quart stockpot- simultaneously! Dry cycle is better than a lot of others, and the machine feels solid and well built. Definitely a solid purchase.

This dishwasher is pleasantly quiet, the stainless steel tub and the inside racks are pleasing and durable. It's easy to use the controls and there is a small booklet showing suggestions on how to load and not load. The only thing you should be aware of is that you should not think the installation is going to be a DIY if you have never had the experience to do so. Get a professional and save yourself the headache and pain.

I am so happy with this dishwasher. It holds lots and lots, is very quiet, and has a 1 hour cycle. Just about perfect so far!

We bought a Samsung a year ago and it was junk. I would recommend ANYTHING over the Samsung. This Maytag has proven to be a quality purchase. Dishes come out clean every time. The door shuts nicely and it's quiet. You can't go wrong with the Maytag.
