Reviewed multiple refrigerator with a similar price, landed on this Maytag and was not disappointed. The only draw back is the ice maker can be a little bit slow and does not hold a large amount of ice. The fridge and freezer sections have lots of room, and the stainless steel is nice especially with the technology to prevent seeing finger prints.

We replaced our old fridge which was over 20 years old. This fridge is quiet and doesnt show fingerprints which is nice. I'm still getting used the french doors and bottom freezer......but it seems to have sufficient space for all our stuff. The only thing I dont like is that it has limited space for taller items like 2 liter bottles, milk and oj.......but we make it work. I love the drawers and it keeps our produce fresher longer than our old fridge ever did. And it looks great in our kitchen!

We purchased this refrigerator over a year ago. It was suppose to arrive in November of 2018 and it arrived in January of 2019. After about 19 months of use I noticed on the right hand door along where the seal is located, there is also a flap of plastic. This plastic flap has cracked and torn away from the seal. I emailed Maytag, but have yet to hear back.

This fridge is awesome. Roomy, spacious, and the best thing, finger print resistant! The only thing I don't like is the ice maker is super loud and it immediately starts making ice after you get some. Other than that, it's perfect. It looks great in my kitChen too!

I bought this maytag during the civid shortage period. All that was available were french door stainless steel with ice-makers. I have well water so I didn't want an ice maker. I finally found a side by side, but it was stainless, which i didn't really want. I bought it anyway, thinking it was a good brand. (Lol) Its electronically controlled in the fridge which controls the freezer too. Totally UNbrilliant! My ice cream is too soft, the top shelf in the fridge freezes. The produce drawers are flimsy and hard to slide in. Cheap and with rough edges that I had to grind down myself. It does stain and does NOT clean with a damp paper towel as I was told. I absolutely hate it and the fact that I had to pay $1700 + tax really makes me sick.

This is a very good fridge. Keeps everything nice and cold, and plenty of space for food, milk, etc. The freezer on the bottom is a nice change from the old-style fridges. Ice maker/water dispenser works well and the control panel is easy to operate. The only bad part was the Best Buy Install. They will not install if you have an old water line coming up through the floor connected to a pipe with a saddle valve. We were not told this when we bought the fridge and it led to a fiasco dealing with them as they would not disconnect the old fridge to put the new one in its place. They will only connect if you have a shut off valve installed behind the fridge. Be careful in clarifying this when scheduling the install and make sure someone is present who can disconnect the old one and connect the new one.

Happy with purchase, very nice Refrigerator and good value for Price. Purchased the whole Maytag matching kitchen set. Cons I have noticed: Sound level when running. The compressor part seems quiet but there is some other fan or motor that runs and is louder than it should be. Can hear it running clearing in the living room. Anyone know a correction for this? It stops when you open the door and starts up again when it closes. Ice maker is a little loud, but I'm fine with that. Not much more than previous brand. Finger/Hand Prints still show up.. Kids. Still love it, but will be asking more questions or have the Running Noise level checked.

Just okay. I bought after our 3 year old LG failed (don't buy an LG! known compressor issues and tough to get service; even though the compressor was still under warranty I wasn't willing to wait 2 months for repair, plus the warranty didn't include labor). This Maytag keeps things cold/frozen and has plenty of space. Kind of noisy. Hate the ice maker! While it makes ice quickly the discharge chute routinely jams. And when you clear the jam you get ice everywhere.

Purchased this refrigerator and dishwasher with the fingerprint resistance stainless steel. Refrigerator is working fine and looks good. Only negative thing is it is a little noisy at times. Best Buy had this on sale.

I got a great deal on this refrigerator. I have had it a little over a year. The ice machine does make a lot of noise. It does have a clean look and plenty of room in the freezer and fridge.

I saw this refrigerator was on sale and needed a new one for a house I had purchased in Arizona. I was in Wisconsin at the time of the sale and went into Best Buy to look at it. The sale price was too good to pass up so I asked the salesperson if I could buy it here and have it delivered in AZ. He said it wasn't a problem even though I would not be in the house for over a month. I bought this refrigerator, a washer, and dryer, and installation of all in the new house. Here it is, a couple of months later and all are in the house and doing well. The refrigerator has more then enough room for just me. It should have plenty for a family. It looks great in the kitchen next to different brands of appliances. YUP---I would buy this again if I need a refrigerator.

We like it so far. Very simple fridge, no major bells and whistle. If you want a TV on your fridge or WIFI anything, this isn't for you. This keeps your food cold and your frozen, frozen. Decent room, Ice/Water dispenser works as it should. My only complaint is the top left corner right next to the ice maker is the cold air vent, and if you stack two cartons of egg on top of each other, the top carton will have 6 frozen eggs. Maybe the design can be a little better, but, Maytag is a trusted "Made in USA" brand.

After researching fridges for days, we finally settled on this Maytag. As with ALL refrigerators, there were several negative reviews, mainly about noise. Here is what we have noticed: every time you open the fridge door, the motor stops running. When you close it, the motor starts up again. It is definitely noticeable and for 3 seconds, sounds like a quiet car leaving a stop sign. But after that, it sounds like a normal fridge. It keeps both top and bottom nice and cold and is extremely attractive as refrigerators go. So far we are very pleased with our choice.

Love the machine, 10yr compressor warranty is better than most. No fingerprints either and you can hang a magnet on the FRONT. You can lock the ice and water dispenser. ( so you can tell the grandkids that it’s not working) Only problems, the ice maker takes up quite a bit of space. To open the “deli drawer you need to open both doors. It’s possible to have the left door not completely shut without the alarm going off.

Love this fridge. The water drips ever so slightly, however it's not enough to make me not want it. I just have to wipe out the drip tray about 2x a day if I want it completely clean (I'm slightly OCD). Works great and simple shelf installation.

Plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. Love the fingerprint resistant finish. Would give five stars but the motor hum is a little louder than I'd like.

We love this fridge. Reason for the 4 star ranking. The first fridge only worked for 12 hours and the fan bearings went and made no ice. The first delivery was about 3 weeks out from purchase. Then the OOB failure took another 3 weeks to get a replacement delivered. Thank goodness we had a backup fridge. The wait on delivery and the response to resolved a faulty equipment was painful and multiple phone calls to get resolution. I am a membership plus account holder and the hours of arguing to rectify the situation was extremely painful. First phone call to have the OOB was to call the manufacturer to resolve. This made no sense if I am member and was just delivered. Finally, had a resolution 3 agents later and multiple calls to get someone to finally tesolve the problem.

My overall experience with this product had been great. From Best Buy's delivery and assembly to the refrigerator itself all has been stellar. The refrigerator looks really clean and modern, the stainless steel handles gives it a mature look. There is plenty of space in the refrigerator and freezer. My only complaint, and its not a deal breaker, is that the amount of water that is cooled for the water dispensary is not very much so we run out of cold water after about a 1 liter.

I had a Maytag fridge for many years but it did not have any ice or water dispenser. I decided to upgrade and chose this 24.7 cu. ft. I am continually saying thank you to persons who find that the fridge has the kitchen looking better than ever. The interior design makes it very easy for all users to access things in it and it shows a lot more space than one can expect given its cubic capacity. It’s stainless steel finish is also a plus as I have very little wiping to do on the surface.

We originally owned a Maytag side by side that died a months after purchase back in 2004. Maytag replaced the compressor and we had 15 good years with it. That was good enough reason to go with another Maytag even with that early on failure. This refrigerator looks high end from the exterior. The stainless surface is coated so it is not so bright as the raw stainless found on other brands. The wife loves the deli tray. I like wide shelves as this is our first French door fridge. The ice box is also nice not having to pull everything out to get to items in the back like our old side by side. We noticed how much faster the ice is dispensed on this model and love the large dispenser paddles and wide dispenser cut out for larger cups and mugs. The lighted display is easy to see. I’ve found other models diffuser to the point I had to get my glasses as the type was too small and low contrast to read until you memorized the settings. The door alarm is much needed with kids who are always looking around for snacks and forget to close doors. It doesn’t have the fancy LED backlighting we saw in other models and the drawers would be nicer on roller bearings, as you can hear them slide with a bit of friction depending on how heavy you loaded up the drawers, but our last Maytag didn’t have them either so we’re ok with that. All in all, not the priciest but not the least expensive but I believe it has the best features for the money if your looking at stainless. Also, Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmoore is all made by the same people as far as I know and so far customer service has been great.
