So far we have enjoyed our new Maytag appliances. The fridge has amazing room. I feel like our fridge and freezer are finally organized for the first time! Absolutely love the freezer on the bottom. The crushed ice however does spray all over but I am pretty sure I have noticed that same problem on most ice makers.

Our original version of this refrigerator is 15 years old. We moved it to the garage when we bought the new one. I read people complaining about noise and I'm like "what noise?" this thing is very quiet. I like how the ice and water in the door has been reworked into separate functions for ice and water dispensing. I did notice that the fan turns off when you open the doors. That to me is odd, but whatever. Overall, I love this refrigerator. Best Buy delivery was top-notch too. I needed to move the old frige into the garage and then haul away the old one. No problem there whatsoever, the guys were great!!

This is a very good fridge. Keeps everything nice and cold, and plenty of space for food, milk, etc. The freezer on the bottom is a nice change from the old-style fridges. Ice maker/water dispenser works well and the control panel is easy to operate. The only bad part was the Best Buy Install. They will not install if you have an old water line coming up through the floor connected to a pipe with a saddle valve. We were not told this when we bought the fridge and it led to a fiasco dealing with them as they would not disconnect the old fridge to put the new one in its place. They will only connect if you have a shut off valve installed behind the fridge. Be careful in clarifying this when scheduling the install and make sure someone is present who can disconnect the old one and connect the new one.

Very roomy and very well lit inside.. stainless steel is nice looking and doe not leave fingerprints.. only down side is geek squad installers left remnants of the protective plastic that covers the stainless steel all around the edges of the door now it is very hard to remove

Just okay. I bought after our 3 year old LG failed (don't buy an LG! known compressor issues and tough to get service; even though the compressor was still under warranty I wasn't willing to wait 2 months for repair, plus the warranty didn't include labor). This Maytag keeps things cold/frozen and has plenty of space. Kind of noisy. Hate the ice maker! While it makes ice quickly the discharge chute routinely jams. And when you clear the jam you get ice everywhere.

Great French door fridge that I got at a heck of a price. One issue though is the ice maker. It won't work when you push the button. If you open then close the left door, it will work. Plan to have the repair person come out to fix that. Otherwise, love it.

I love the space in the refrigerator. With that said I do notice more noise coming from the refrigerator. I can hear the ice cubes drop into the bin and I can hear the water filling the ice trays back up. It is not so loud as to be annoying, but you can hear it from across the room.

Great refrigerator plenty of room, lots of features, and the door set up is outstanding. The ice maker is not the best, ours has frozen solid twice and stopped working. When it worked it was very slow to fill a glass with ice.

This refrigerator is awesome. it has space galore, quick ice maker, quiet, and no hand prints left behind. it is a great unit. highly recommend.

We bought this because of high ratings on Wirecutter. I think we may have gotten a lemon, because this unit shakes and is very loud. (We've returned it -- Best Buy has been GREAT at helping us with that.) The ice maker operates at 56db -- louder than our dishwasher. It's loud enough that we can hear it in any room in our house. It shakes the ceiling lights in our basement. I suspect there is something wrong with this unit that is causing that, and we would have simply done a repair or replacement if not for other issues. The other issues are numerous: The drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator area does not open unless the doors are fully open. We had to position the refrigerator at an unaesthetic angle to accommodate this design flaw. When you use the ice maker, a few pieces of ice always seem to get stuck in it, and they'll randomly spew out about an hour later. Speaking of the ice maker -- it's HUGE. It takes up about 15% of the internal space in the fridge. It's location makes it difficult to see other things in the fridge. I'm really surprised this was as well-rated on Wirecutter as it was. Even without the noise, there's a lot that isn't great about this refrigerator.

I bought this fridge in 2018 as part of a package. It's been nothing but trouble. Ice maker replaced twice under warranty, and again after extended warranty. $500 to replace. I just spent all afternoon trying to find a replacement light bulb and instructions. Best Buy has been great. It's not their fault, but I've had a lot of fridges in my 72 years, but never a lemon like this.

Plenty of room in the fridge and freezer. Love the fingerprint resistant finish. Would give five stars but the motor hum is a little louder than I'd like.

First time going with French Door style & am so glad we did! The stainless steel does a great job of not showing fingerprints, which was a big concern. Large, ample space inside. Zero complaints!

This fridge goes beyond our expectations, it is beautiful and can never go wrong with French doors to it! Such a great bit for the price!

Love this Maytag model. Stainless steel is good quality and the handles give the refrigerator a great look. Easy to you. Not too bulky for a French door.

The fridge (fan?) is a little loud at times, and it always seems like we need to wipe down the tray after getting ice. I had this "same" Maytag fridge before and this one doesn't seem to be as high of quality. The sliding of the drawers (including freezer) aren't as smooth. I still like the fridge and would purchase it, again.

My overall experience with this product had been great. From Best Buy's delivery and assembly to the refrigerator itself all has been stellar. The refrigerator looks really clean and modern, the stainless steel handles gives it a mature look. There is plenty of space in the refrigerator and freezer. My only complaint, and its not a deal breaker, is that the amount of water that is cooled for the water dispensary is not very much so we run out of cold water after about a 1 liter.

Pretty good refrigerator, the water valve had to be replaced under warranty. Ice maker has been a little tricky because sometimes it freezes over and can't eject the ice. love the Freezer and refrigerator space itself.

Needed lots of space for leftovers and meal prepping. The kids love the French doors. Easy for them to get to the freezer for meals and frozen treats. Love the refrigerator.
