We are so disgusted with the quality of what is coming out of major appliances these days and this is another example. Nothing lasts beyond a few weeks let alone years. We will see if the warranty will stand up. We bought this item because it was analog and our new digital washer only lasted 3 years with a repair and much coaxing. This is the first and last time we will use Best Buy for appliances. We had high hopes after being a loyal Sears customer. Very disappointing.

Very disappointed

After only three month of having it purchased and having using all the recommended cycles for each type of loading, it started living my clothes all dirty and eventually it stopped washing completely, the agitator is not working. I’m very disappointed with this washer since I was told the ones with the agitator would be more durable.

It doesn't. The water level is below the top of the clothes. The agitator moves in slow motion. I washed one white item 4 times to get it clean. I have figured out that if you let it fill and when it starts agitating you can lift the lid and it will add more water. But you have to do this many times and who wants to stand there and put up with this. Now I'm gonna have to go to the laundry mat do any heavy laundry. These new HE machines are worthless and the manufactures know it. Do not change the wording on my review.

Tried to wash a queen size mattress cover and the water overflowed! The Top Load Washer Cycle Guide that I received from Maytag, indicated “ Large items such as sheets, sleeping bags,” etc. should be washed using Bulky Items Cycle, so why would a consumer think that a mattress pad should not be washed in a drum that is much larger than my old Maytag washer. In addition, this washer does not qualify for a rebate!
