My previous Maytag washing machine had NO ISSUES until the very end. It lasted 15+ years. I did not hesitate to purchase another Maytag. After only 14 months this appliance is no longer properly draining water. I have to do an additional spin cycle. If it already has this type of issue, I can't imagine what issue is just around the corner.

This item is defective, before wash cycle start it start pumping water out in drain and fill from inlet. It keep doing it until all the soap is in drain, then wash cycle start. I am unable to wash my cloth clean. I will not suggest any body to buy this item. Very soon I will post video of it on you tube.

It’s not what I thought. These washing machines are a waste of money

Our washer went out, so we had to get a new one. We have had this washer for about 1 1/2 weeks now, & it has exceeded our expectations so far. The stainless steel tub is roomy, & it does a good job of cleaning the clothes. We love the fact that the lid does not lock right away, so you can add more items to the load if you forget something. We also like that the washer is made in the U.S. The only thing we do not like 100% is the fact that you cannot choose the load size (i.e., water level), but it is almost impossible to find a washer that gives you that option nowadays.

I actually prefer the manual potions of the ‘old school’ washers. Each of my previous 3 washers lasted approximately 15 years… This one makes a lot of noise, but has some handy options. I’ve had it over 3 years now. Hope it lasts!!!

Fantastic unit. Works amazing and at a great price

I don't like this washer at all. I only replaced my old basic top load washer because I needed a new dryer. (the matching dryer often requires two cycles to dry, btw, so I don't like that either). My clothes are not clean and sometimes there are dry areas on the clothes I hang dry because they never went under the water. The two water choices are obviously for water saving efficiency and is not sufficient for a clean load of laundry. The washing action barely agitates the clothes regardless of selection. It is noisy but I really don't care about that so much. I have messed with all of the settings and never feel my loads are cleaned well. I called Best Buy after having my set for two weeks in hopes of a return but was told 14 days was the limit on large appliances. I happened to call on day 15 after trying to make the set work for me but no exceptions will be made. I was told to try corporate Best Buy, so today I will do that.

This machine works fine, and we're happy with it. The only thing we'd like to have is a manual that has full explanation of the cycles, and the run-times associated with them. The instructions are skimpy, and it would take a great deal of effort to observe and time the different options. So far, so good! Our last Maytag lasted over 40 years.

Huge on the inside. I think it said like 3.8 but it holds at least twice as much as our last washer. Easily washes comforters with room to spare. Quiet as well and a water saver.

I just want to say the choosing of this machine with my Home Warranty company was the biggest mistake I could have made. This machine was purchased and delivered to me November 2018 and it has been a nightmare. This machine does not cover the clothes to properly clean them. I've contacted Maytag and spoken with a technician who advised this is the best it will do and nothing can be done to change that. I don't trust the cleanliness of the clothes. I have removed clothes from the machine and they are still dirty and smell dirty. I have to put them back into the machine and re-wash again. This machine does not conserve anything when you have to re-wash two and three times to finally get your clothes clean. Also, the tub is deep but to no avail, the water won't cover the items so you have to put very, very small loads in and hope they get clean. I would never buy this machine again and would not recommend anyone should. I feel helpless and very frustrated to have a new washing machine that does not perform as it should.
