So far, I love this machine! Very intuitive and easy to use. Clothes come out so clean and nothing is tangled like it was in my old machine.

The washer started showing various error codes less than one year after purchase. The washer would start up and stop while the door remain locked, so we had to go behind the washer to unplug it every time this would happen. Eventually, the washer would stop working every time so we called Maytag for repair. Maytag sent an authorized repair technician who sepnt few hours and determined that there was something wrong with the locking mechanism of the door. He told us he would check on the warranty status and call us back in a few days. An few weeks go by we did not hear from the technician so we contacted Maytag again I was set up with another appointment with the same technician from 1-800-Appliance. It was clear from the start that the job required two people because there is a stacked dryer on top of the washer. The technician damaged my wall and the dryer door while attempting to remove the dryer. Long story short, the repair was not completed but I was left with a damaged wall and a dryer. I called Maytag regarding this and the representative basically told me that I had to deal directly with 1-800 appliances and that I was on my own. So BEWARE, it is bad enough that the washer failed withihn 1 year of purchase but Maytag will not take any responsibility or provide any assistance if something goes wrong with their "authorized repair technician". Since Maytag is owned by Whirlpool, I'd stay away from Whirlpool as well.

This washing machine is fine on a day to day basis, but there is no way to easily clean the filter. If you have pets, plan on hiring a repair man every 3 months to come open this thing up to clean out the fur inside.

Beautiful machine ! Performs well had a few issues with the holding the start button down to count down but eventually got used to it !

Only complaint is signal sound is low/soft. Difficult to hear from distance.

The machine is just fine, but frankly when you get it installed have the installer walk you through the process of learning how to use it. The book it comes with wasn't clear and may husband thought it was broken because he couldn't get it to start. Finally he figured it out.

We've been using this Maytag - 4.5 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Front Load Washer with Steam for about 6 months. It has been super easy to use, quiet, and never goes out of balance. Perhaps because the installer balanced the machine upon install. Ty!

Just delivered this week. So far so good and matches the dryer we had purchased last year. Last Maytag lasted 17 years

It is a good item. I haven’t had it too long but I enjoy the product so far.

We purchased this washer several months ago and it is a great product. A wide righty of settings but very simple to use. No issues at all so far. With any front loading washer, it is important to keep the door open after washes and dry out the internal moisture to prevent molding. But a great product at a reasonable price point.

Confusing because I’m old school. But once I got it it works. New to all the”touch” buttons. Book fo s not tell how long each different cycle is. My first was was 3 hours long but was and has been surprised how clean the clothes come out.

Seems to work well. User information is scant. It would be nice if the full documentation was available when the product is installed. Does a very good job washing, and the high speed spin is excellent.

My second Maytag washing machine. This has less bells and whistles...but just enough, regardless. It is pretty quiet (given that it is on the upper level of my home). I would really like to get the pedestal now.

Best service i love my washer i wouldn't shop anywhere else

I read so many reviews before buying this product, and I liked it. In our first try, it worked so well and our white clothes were cleaned well. However, in our second try, it gave "add garment" error. So, I had to return it. It was a big frustration for us, but I like Best Buy since smoothly processed the return and we will order another product.

Working great! No issues so far. Not as much noise canceling as our old ones but I guess that might be good because you will know if you left a penny in your pocket for sure..lol. The wife wishes it was louder with the noise it makes signaling its done but I don’t mind that, because I don’t do the laundry;)

Great Maytag washer. We have had a set before these and they are workhorses. Very few problems, had our other set for 12+ years was working perfectly, only reason we bought new was because we sold our house and new buyers wanted them.

excellent washer. I'm in love with the quality of my clean clothes with a simple Quick Wash Option. It's very economical with detergent, efficient with time and quite throughout all the cycles. I'm glad the comparison of features and prices against other brands paid off.
