I bought this and the accompanying dryer as a package. Nice design, decent on noise. So far I've had it for about a month and it is a significant upgrade from my last front load washer. The smell is very fresh and clean and it's a large capacity washer which is great. It's also eco-friendly which is something I was looking for. The only issue I've had so far is that sometimes it seems like a standard drain and spin cycle isn't included in the regular wash cycle so the clothes are much wetter than I'm used to and I have to run that cycle separately to get the additional water out that sometimes ends up in the bin. I intend on checking the manual to see if I can make that part automatic and reduce having to run it separately.

The Maytag washer work great the only draw back that I have notice is depending on the cycle you choose the cloths are wrung out enough but otherwise a great purchase

Old washer coding out. Repair service (not Best Buy, but someone contracted with them) came out 3 times and still the washer was not fixed. Was given the option to cash in on my 5-year protection plan and get a new washer. So I did! Love it!

Have been using washer one month. Cleans clothing well. Also, removed stains from rags almost completely that previously had been washed in agitator washer. Satisfied with overall performance.

Love my washer! I only wish it had a light on the inside but I love the way it washes my clothes and keeps things smelling fresh.

After years of our old name brand washer only "cleaning" a large decorative pillow set to an off white color and finally seeing them emerge from this washer bright white proved to me that this Maytag is superior in cleaning. I am more than satisfied with this purchase!!

My last unit was a Maytag and I had it for 15 years. Used it until the bearing fell out. This unit makes the walls shake when the water comes on and off. It doesn’t rinse all the soap out of the dispenser leaving a hard chunk of powder remaining. The cycle overall seems lengthy at 1 hour 45 minutes. Not impressed so far.

Does what a washer is suppose to do but the tub is not made of strong material. Something left in pocket (like small pocket knife) completely made nicks/tears in the metal that ended up snagging ALL the clothes in wash. Found this after a few washes. We had to “sand” down the nicks. Took a few attempts to smooth tub
Also the digital “time” on screen does not equal time left on wash cycle. It is frustrating to see 0:02 and the cycle doesn’t finish for another 10 minutes

Brought this since my old Maytag epic Z , gave out. Didn't want to by a new machine but had to. This machine is large and quiet, has even a 15 min quick wash. Was gonna go with a kenmore but warned to be able to stack this machine with my old epic Z dryer. Found out the kenmore were actually LG and wouldn't want a LG or Samsung appliance.
This machine can stack with epic Z dryer, you just have to order the latest stacking kits, because the older ones is too short.
I.only wish I brought the extended warranty for 5 years
OMG what a difference between this and the top loa

I had the new top load Maytag washer and my clothes were coming out with streaks of dirt in the creases. Didn’t matter if I said I needed a deep water wash, the agitator did not move the clothes enough to circulate the wash lad. I bought the front load and 100% improvement. You can use a lot less water if the clothes tumble through it than you can if it is just moving back and forth an inch or two. My clothes come out clean, no grit or dirt in the creases and there is no comparison. I LOVE this front loader!

It's a great washer if you want a steam option, but dont want to spend a fortune.
So far, so good. No problems. Runs smoothly. Very quiet. It has a built in water heater and automatic temprature control. It does take a while (2.5-3 hrs.) to complete a heavy duty cycle with hot water plus steam, plus double rinse. But it's worth it, especially if you have allergies or small children. Fast wash cycle takes only 15 min.

Machine was installed in May 2019, worked fairly well for a while. Soon noticed the detergent tray housing quickly got moldy and needed to be cleaned constantly, but that is the least of the problem. About a month ago the machine started having electrical issues, and within a week the control panel was no longer working at all. Now after paying out 300 dollars to repair companies just to come look at the machine, we're told that we need to order a 500 dollar replacement mother board for a machine that we have used for less than three years. Very unhappy with this purchase, seems like this was not built to last at all. The model it replaced worked without issue for over 10 years. I've bought all of my appliances through best buy the past few years, this is the first time I have been thoroughly disappointed.
