This washing machine does the work efficiently, the only issue is that it’s really really loud. This could improve, but the load it’s awesome so as the efficiency on the cleaning

This is only day one, but I am catching up on laundry since being without a washing machine. It is a good basic machine that gets laundry clean and can handle large loads. I do wish it told me how much longer for each cycle and it let me know when the laundry is done. But my biggest complaint is that it is REALLY LOUD. I wish I would have known how loud it is because I may have looked at other washers.

Broke after 2 years a decent washing machine but you have to hold the start button that I have to use my knuckle. As some one who constantly washes it does it’s job but don’t rely on it doing heavy loads.

This machine is large and gets the job done. I haven’t tried washing my comforters in it though. I have king sized and I’m afraid of ruining the machine as they just don’t make anything like they used to. So I can’t comment on that. I took off one star because I’m not a fan of not being able to open the machine once it’s started. THE THING LOCKS!! Booooo… I liked my old machine because I could add detergent and what not while it filled, then add clothes after. I couldn’t find a work around either. But over all nice machine with large capacity even with the agitator which is a must have for me.

Decided to go with a maytag washer as they have a rather good reputation. Was looking for something basic yet modern that my mother could use. Sure others have fancy features and buttons, but this seemed to be the easiest for her to adjust to. Washer is a little noisy during fill phase, but quiets down after though. Two gripes we have is the washer lid is verh flimsy and seems cheap compared to competitors, and the fact the lid locks during the cycle, makes it difficult to add water to dilute the softner dispenser. It seems silly that you need to dilute the softner yet cant have the machine running with water and open at the same time. Overall it works fine, and looks nice.

Great capacity I don't see this getting overloaded. Overall pretty easy to use, but I absolutely hate the starting process. Once you get it, it works but why make it a pain? You literally have to hold the start button until it reads locked then let go. Not the end of the world but I don't know how long that button will last? Overall machine performed well every time.

the lid is flimsy and it is a loud washer especially when filling up. gets the job done in the end.

Love the capacity and ease of use. We love the top loader and agitator; little loud and avg cycle is 1 hr but over all happy with the value

Looks great. Takes large loads and bulky items easily. It took me a bit of time to figure out how to turn it on. Cleans clothes well. However..... Its hecka noisey in part of the cycle. I cant close the laundry room door because kitty supplies are in there. Also im only 5 ft tall so I can not reach the bottom to remove small items. Customer service & delivery was great. They even took away my old one.

Love the new washer, especially the super large capacity tub with the agitator. We are in the Care Giving season with our parents and needing those items in a washer. Also the guys that delivered the washer were a delight with promptness and their help getting it inside and their overall niceness and helpfulness. The washer is a little loud but I find all the new ones are that way verses the old washers. So far a big hit!!!

I was recently in the market for a new washer after the electronics panel on my previous Maytag washer started going out. It was a scratch and dent premium model which I loved, it was just not worth the repair cost to fix it since it was approaching 10 years old. In saying all of that, I was not expecting this washer to have all of the features of the previous washer when purchasing this for around $500, but I have been happy with it so far the past few months. I can understand what others have said in their comments that is can be loud at times (mostly at the start when filling), but since mine is located in the basement, that was not as much of a concern. I feel the cycles complete in reasonable times and my clothes come out very clean. I would definitely make this purchase again.

I like how spacious the washer is. Fits my comforter. However, the only thing that I would change for this dryer is keeping it unlocked when the washer is filling. You have to put the detergent before the water runs because as soon as you start it, it locks. Could be that I am using it wrong.

So far the washer has been excellent I haven't had any problems with the noise levels. I love the agitator on the machine and its very user friendly

Well my new one you have to put everything in the washer instead of putting the beads in letting the water run then put everything else in. But it’s noisier than they old one I wish that one worked. I don’t hear it so much as I’m upstairs most of the time so I don’t know if it’s as off balance since Michael had to balance it not the team that installed it. They blew me off again & I told Michael that it makes the water in the tub off balance to begin with so I didn’t want it to break before it should. I can’t get into the website as I’m locked out.. customer service said they couldn’t help me but not sure why they couldn’t.

Loud pulsating noise thru out the cycle, but my clothes are clean and wrung out nicely. I love the old washing machines from back in the day when your clothes were clean with no soap residue on them. Goodbye Samsung and your stinky sealed door. Got tired of cleaning it every week for gross residue in seal of side door.

This was a bargain "openbox" purchase. As a top loading washer, it has been very efficient and cleans clothes well.

I've been hesitant to purchase one of these "high efficiency" washers. Because my cousin brought new, red, pretty matching washer and dryer with no agitator and it didn't clean well. Well this one cleans great and has an agitator. It did take a while to learn how to use it correctly however

I love my new Maytag washer! It’s easy to use, quiet and holds a large load.

Delivery was on time and nicely done. Washer has very large capacity and does fine. A little loud operating but no big deal.
