The Washer seems to work well but I do not like the new model washers where the lid locks so you can’t see how it operates nor can you add any last minute items to the washer you forgot about. I would feel better if I could see the process rather than just trusting it is getting things as clean as I would like them to be.

So far, it's working well, though I don't like all the restrictions the machines place on how you have to load them. I prefer that the water dissolve the detergent before putting in the clothes, but this machine requires the lid to be closed and locked before it will fill with water. I also don't like the fact that you must use a second, automatic rinse cycle if you're using fabric softener. I do like the fact that it has an old-fashioned agitator. Since it won't let me open the lid, however, I can't tell if it's using a generous amount of water. It says it's "Deep fill," so I guess it is. I do think the wash time is inordinately long. Old Maytag washers used to be able to wash a large load in about 30 minutes. This one takes about 90 minutes.

Works as it is intended. Easy to install and light weight. Performs great. Great for me and family and easy to operate. Big win…. Well worth the investment

The initial review is excellent for the washer. However, there were some issues with the setting afterwards, which have since been resolved. Overall, wash quality is great for the price.

Have used it heavily for the last few months.Happy with the purchase so far. A little on the louder side but it does a great job.

Washes extremely well. Large size. A little loud but it just may not be leveled correctly. Best Buy is coming out to take a look. Excellent customer service.

This Maytag washer is a terrible washer machine. I would not recommend to any person to buy it. Makes loud noise when it washing and right now it’s broke down with my clothes in it and water. Can’t open lid to get my clothes out. I call customer service and no one can’t give me answers. I just purchased this washer 5/4/2024 and it hasn’t been a year with this washer. Very upset.

This washer is spacious and effective, but it's a bit noisy.

This is a very good machine at its price point. I picked this one based on its capacity and it having a deep water setting along with an extra rinse option. The deep water setting actually does fully submerge the cloths it water. The only cons are that it would be nice if it had an end-of-cycle chime and it is a bit loud overall but again at this price point… it is what it is. Tip: I slid an old bath mat under the machine between the feet and it noticeably quieted it down while running… acted like sound deadening.

If you want a reliable washer. Dont buy this one. Had the washers for 4 months and it broke. The lid lock is trash. I couldn’t get it opened, after many Youtube videos i was able to reset it, however; it wouldnt start. Called Maytag, thankfully i was under warranty, they had a tech come out pretty quickly. I asked the tech what the issue was and he explained when the washer was assembled, they have some cable too tight and it rips off. Tech said its something that happens really frequently. May happen again. I was not happy to hear that. If i could save anyone else the hassle. Dont buy it. Oh before i forget, the start button is already wrinkled and ugly. Pick a washer with an actual button.

The washer seems to do a good job and we especially like the large size. However, it wobbles a bit on spin and it is noisier than we think it should be. When it was delivered the tech said he could only level it from side to side (and not front to back) because the top of the washer slants. I am not sure it is level, which may be causing it to wobble and make noise. How do I get a tech to come check it?

I love the fact you can adjust the water levels and simple buttons. I didn’t need anything fancy. Nice large load capacity. The only thing is you really can’t wash large blankets. But all in all I’m happy with it.

Great price, our last washer lasted 18 years, hoping this Maytag does to! Like the capacity, quick cycles, very easy to use.

Like the efficiency, big drum and spin that removes so much of the water from the clothes. Somewhat noisy.

About to put my house up for sale and my old machine (Whirlpool front loader) gives up on life. Cool. So, rather than spend 50 bucks a month at the laundromat (when did THAT happen), I decided to be an adult and get a new one. I'm not a rich girl so I did my research and settled on this one. It is a little loud but not terrible. Also, it's not hard to start like everyone says in the reviews. You push the button and it goes. The only thing I don't like is the fabric softener dispenser. I use fabric softener ALL THE TIME so it's annoying. The spin cycle is a BEAST!

My Maytag washer does the job, however, it is the loudest-running machine I have ever owned. It does a great job of getting clothes clean, but it is very loud when changing cycles and overall very noisy.

Love the washer, but do not like that the lid locks. Never had that before and I always like to look to see how much water, etc. and in order to do that, I need to pause the cycle and I am afraid it would start over or something. Just don't know why the lid has to lock. I'm old school, so not used to this new feature.

This washing machine has such a large capacity - we can fit our comforter and bed sheets all in one load and probably could fit even more. All of the different settings are great. It's not terribly loud (I think about normal noise for a washing machine) but it does a really great job. Delivery to our house was fantastic - no issues.
