So I went into this purchase with a bit of wariness due to an above avg number of negative reviews, but honestly, I feel a lot of those people's issues were due to not reading the manual. We've had it a few days now and it works wonderfully. Much quieter than our previous washer (a 12 year old cheapie) and offers lots of options on how we want to do a particular load. In short, we're happy with our purchase!

It’s more quiet & hasn’t put holes in our clothes like the front load washer we had. It can wash so much more at one time and cleans the clothes better! Very happy!

I have enjoyed this washer. It has several options to choose from and performance is on point. Haven't had any problems. I love the big tub and I get laundry done so quickly now.

It cleans really well and does an excellent job spinning out the water from the clothes. Which cuts down on drying time.

The drum holds much larger loads than any of my previous washers. The clothes are cleaner also and I’ve been washing clothes for over 40 years The controls are very easy to use

I read tons of reviews to replace my almost 30 yr old Myatag. I was skeptical. This washer has been great so far. Best Buy did fabulous job installing (was a bit tight - needed extra inches more than old washer in space between back and wall). It has options to compensate for the "low water" concern (extra rinse, deep fill). You can change temperature, level of dirt, etc. It does take longer BUT it holds a lot more which means fewer loads for our family. It isn't noisy (sits on first floor near family room). It did take a little getting used to with the cycles. And you don't select size - it self-determines the load based on weight. I would definitely recommend.

I love my new washer with an agitator in it... I had a front loader that I hated for years...it smelled and was horrible... I love my new one

This Maytag washer is very easy to set. The wash times are shorter than my last washer and my clothes get so much cleaner and smell so fresh. I use much less detergent as well.

I bought my first Maytag 15 years ago and decided it had enough right after Christmas. I am forever grateful and impressed by how long it survived with our abuse of men's work clothes and socks, acrylic painted everything and dress up clothes layered with endless pet hugs. I was told by repair guy that it would cost several pretty pennies to fix, then talked me into buying a new washer. I decided on another Maytag since the last one lasted me as long as it did. This washer is amazing! I am glad I decided on it, with my eyes closed shut as I tapped the purchase button at how much it cost. It's quieter and my clothes come out cleaner than previous machine and very easy to use. With the see through glass top, my daughter enjoys helping to load and turn on just to watch it do its magic. Family of 5 APPROVED

Easy to use, quiet, really cleans your clothes, love the deep cycle for heavy soiled clothes, so many options to choose from.

Very nice and very happy with this washing machine. Compared to our last washer this is very quiet and does a good job of getting the clothes clean.

I had a newer washer with no agitator, so I am glad I got this one that does. Gets things cleaner.

I love the large capacity of the washer. Now I can was all my large items at home. I do wish it would add more water on the deep fill. Sometimes the clothes are not even submerged in the water. Also, my dark wash is coming out with white lint on it. I do not know why. I always separate my whites from my darks. I also tried not using fabric softener but I still had lint on my clothes.

This washer is big with a agitator. I haven't had any problems with my clothes or linens like other reviews hve stated. It tells you when to clean the washer and I do. After about owning it for 6 months the lid had a faulty electrical problem had to have it serviced other then that its been great. It can be a little noisy but its a washer and it takes forever to wash a load of clothes but I think that's all high efficiency washers.you can literally wash like 18 towels at once if u like,I don't but u can

went from older style GE washer to new Maytag, Maytag is noisier with clunks during wash cycle, but cleans better than old style washer. cycle times are about 2x longer than older washer. Geek Squad listened to washer and partially disassembled to check part assembly and wear and found nothing unusual. great washer for cleaning laundry but location needs to be removed or blocked off from living areas because of noise.

Great washer. The traditional agitator in the middle makes for a better wash. Cleans the clothes very well.

Perfect size. Very quiet holds a lot of clothes. Went back to the Toploader because it felt like the front loaders were not cleaning them properly.

Best washer for the money. I would recommend this washer for its ease of use and excellent results.
