Very quiet compared to my old washing machine. Large capacity load.

I like this washer. The features are great. It is quiet which is a plus. The only complaint I have is the soap tray is beginning to rust on the gliders. I find that disturbing considering it is a washing machine and water goes into it..

Great washer for a family, quiet and gets the job done.

This washer was purchased as a replacement. It cleans well. The only negative is the touch pad start. I’m the only one in my family that has a problem with it. It seems like it’s not going to start. Other than that, it’s fine. It’s definitely quiet. It’s also has a timer that displays the time left for the load. This is a wonderful feature.

I've been using this machine for three weeks and so far I'm satisfied. I like the deep fill, but a little disappointed that there is not more water in the rinse cycle. Does a good job spinning out the water which cuts down on drying time.

I purchased this machine because of the Maytag name and because it's a top loader. I had one before without the agitator and it did not clean my clothes well. Salesperson said that machines with agitators work best at getting clothes clean. So I purchased this one. Sometimes my gym clothes come out still smelling! Also a white residue is often left on black clothes. I think it is because of the water saving technology. The old machine used to fill up to the top and would clean my clothes very well. These ones save water but don't do too well at cleaning the clothes.

I purchased this washer over a year ago and it is still working great. The agitator feature is definitely a plus as you don’t see this with a lot of efficiency washers. The deep fill option is great as well if you are washing something large. I had my old Maytag for 15+ years, glad I stuck with the brand.

Great washer. Super quiet and really washes clothing good.

Seems to work better with the larger loads. Wish we could add soap and water to the tub before cycle starts. Must put it in separate dispensers which does not allow you dilute or dissolve powders beforehand.

Works well. Takes a long time to do a normal load of laundry (about an hour). Takes some getting used to the tub not filling up completely, but the clothes come out clean. Huge capacity! Lots of bells and whistles.

I have had this machine for over a year now and it has been a great purchase. It has an agitator and also a big capacity. Can wash blankets and even sleeping bag with no worries. Water sensor for load size so can wash big or small loads no problem.

My samsung recall broke down on me and did not want to purchase samsung. I looked at the maytag one with a very low price. So far it has ran great. the only issue I have is that I still dont know how to use all the options.

I normally do not write reviews, but I look at reviews myself to make decisions when buying items. I really wanted to love this machine. Maytag has had such a great name recognition, but... First, I did about 6 months of research. I previously had a Whirlpool Cabrio for ~12 years. The water pump went out twice last year, so I knew it was time for a new washer. I wanted an agitator and a top loader. Pros: 1) It had a much bigger tub than I previously had. Cons: 1)This agitator is very damaging to clothes. It makes my clothes look very old and worn with pills on them. I've always had an agitator. This one is horrible! 2)Dark clothes come out full of lint and soap residue. I even tried not using any soap just to see what would happen. Still, soap residue! Maytag came out and said I was using too much soap... And why all of the lint on clothing??? 3)It is very, very loud. 4) After a month it started to make horrible banging sounds, like I was washing bricks. I started to think I just got a lemon, but my best friend just moved and happened to buy the same washer. She hates it too! Luckily I bought this at Best Buy around Christmas time and I am an elite member, so they exchanged it for me yesterday. I traded it out for the LG Top loader 7100 without an agitator. I think after Whirlpool bought Maytag out in 2006, something happened to all of their products.

We love this washing machine. We have had no issues with it so far. We love all the options and settings to be able to customize the was to each load. The wash drum is huge and allows for nearly any size load you may have. This machine has less depth than most of the front load machines and is great for homes with a smaller space.

Excellent top load washer. It looks complex but is very easy to learn how to use. One page with pictures get you started. Each cycle option is explained on separate sheet. After loading clothes and liquid soap, you select for example, normal cycle or bedding. Press start and water level is determined automatically. Clothes are clean.

After many months of researching washers, I finally settled on this make and model. We like the deep fill option and the simple, easy to use controls. It's been a month and we are happy with our purchase. So far, so good.
