We love the agitator, it deep clean and wrings out the clothes really well. It's a smart machine, easy to program and off it goes.

This was a great value-added purchase! I REALLY like my top-loading washer. It washes small and very large loads well and balances the loads accordingly. It's easy to operate with several washing cycle options. It even alerts me at the end of washing cycle. THANKS are extended to my salesperson for taking the time to provide the info needed to purchase the washer. He was very customer focused and customer friendly!

Just bought a house with no laundry appliances. Researched washers and dryers internet reviews and settled on these Maytags. Searched for suppliers and was happy to see Best Buy. I have been a customer since they opened and never had a problem. Buying from them was a no brainer. They came out and installed them for me, did a great job, left the site clean and the machines functioning. The machines themselves are excellent, easy to use, quiet and do a great job....

It is very quiet and cleans great. It is very easy to use and it hold a lot of clothes at a time.

I am really disappointed with the changes to the washer/dryer industry in the past 20 years! My old Maytag washer lasted 22 years, which is unheard of by today's standards. Most are lucky if they last 10-12 years and are now made by only a couple companies since they've all been bought out (including Maytag). It took some time to get used to this new Maytag. It seriously takes me twice as long to wash my clothes vs. my old Maytag, but I hear all other brands are the same due to the energy efficient features. My old Maytag washed a regular-sized load in 25 minutes. Those days are GONE!! This new machine takes at least 60-90 minutes! I also have very little control over how this machine washes. It goes through a sensing cycle in the beginning and weighs the load to determine how much water to use, so you have no say in the matter. Once you push the start button, you just have to let it do its thing. And forget about pre-soaking a load!! In my prior Maytag, I used to soak my husband's socks by selecting the smallest load size and using hot water with a full load's detergent so it would be super concentrated. I'd then soak the socks for 30 minutes and would then change the setting to a larger load size so it would add more water so I could add the remainder of the laundry, and then wash the full load, which would then take 25 more minutes MAX!! Forget about pre-soaking with this new machine! If you leave it idle with water in it for more 10 minutes, it automatically drains all the water and detergent out. I now have to wash my husband's socks on the Power Wash setting plus the Deep Fill setting, and it seriously takes 90 minutes!! The socks come out just as clean, but overall it takes 30 minutes longer vs. my old machine. As I said, I just had to give up my old ways and get used to the new machine and the longer wash time as the clothes come out just as clean. My new Maytag dryer also takes 30 minutes longer than my old model. I've just chalked it up to all the energy efficient appliances on the market today. That may be acceptable in Europe, but come on...people in the U.S. want to have more time to do the things they enjoy...and for me, that is NOT doing laundry!!

We originally had a Samsung Top loader . It did not clean well and ended up on the Recall list. So we decided to look for another brand to replace it. This Maytag model -MVNB765FW was a great replacement. It gives you plenty of washing options which are simple to use. It is a high efficiency washer but because it has the new style agitator it really offers , I think , the best cleaning job. Our Samsung had no agitator , clothes came out still dirty. This Maytag machine did the job better .I gave it 4 stars only because some noises it makes are a bit louder. But if you are looking for a machine that offers you some bells and whistles with out being over the top and a machine that really performs , I highly recommend you give this one a try.

I wanted a new washer with an agitator (so many come without one) and a deep stainless steel tub. So after checking the reviews on a lot of machines I went with Maytag. I like that I will be saving on water and energy and that it has glass top so I can check on the wash without opening the lid. It spins the loads out so effectively that it cuts on the drying time. The only drawback is that it is very noisy. It makes a lot of unusual noises as it goes through the cycles.

After consulting with my appliance repair guy I knew there were certain things I needed to look for in replacing my washer. My Maytag washer has lasted me 24 years so looking for a new one was a daunting decision. I wanted an agitator and decided on the Maytag. I was not prepared for the new technology which performs like any other HE washer. I find it noisy and it seems to go some dance or something in the washer with each cycle because every few seconds it makes noise between the washer and the valves. I suggest don't wash while others are sleeping in the house! Other than that I love the washer and with the agitator it performs better than the 99.9 HE washers out there without the agitator...based on the poor reviews out there!

This was a replacement for a washing machine of another brand whose electronic board went out. I love having an agitator again and notice that my clothes are cleaner than they were before. Some reviews say the water level is too low but if I feel I need more water I just turn on the deep fill option. I also love the Oxi option as well as a clear lid so I can see what's going on. I've washed blankets and large loads of towels with no problem.

I was apprehensive about getting a Maytag, now that they are one with Whirlpool, but so far this machine has been a joy to use. Capacity is huge, and it runs surprisingly quietly! Like all washers these days, it takes forever (about an hour, depending on the cycle options selected) to complete a load, but at least it has an end-of-cycle chime so that I know it has finished.

Easy to operate, excellent performance, quiet, great cycle options

Oh my I can't say enough about this machine. I had an LG front loader for 3 years. I hated it. It is a little noisy but I don't care. My clothes are cleaner and smell fresher than they have in a very long time. I've also washed king size bedding in it with no problem. I've always used Maytag before and I won't be using anything else every again.

Large capacity and relatively quiet. Not crazy about how these new washers work. Have been told they are all alike. They do not fill with very much water and sometimes doesn't even cover the wash. Can't understand how this gets the clothes clean. Even though it has an agitator clothes still get tangled.

Went from 5.3 washer to this one which I love. The agitator makes a world of a difference. I am able to wash my king comforter and sheets together. Simple with minimal features/buttons which was exactly what I was looking for.

Was a bit nervous about some of the new high efficiency washers and whether they would get the clothes clean. So far this washer has worked out very well. Clothes are clean and I am able to get more in a load than I used to be able to. I will say that I would not go crazy and just fill any space there is in the machine. Going above the agitator will result in clothes that do not get clean or wet. I find that when I take the time to place clothes in the machine in a reasonably balanced way there is no excess shaking or work by the machine to balance the load. Some have complained about noises the machine makes but that is just features they may not be familiar with that were not on previously owned machines. The machine runs as quietly or quieter than my old Kenmore washer. Only complaint I have is something you can not get around. The high efficiency aspect of the machine (as well as most other machines available today) is that the cycle takes longer. However that is somewhat offset by the fact that this machine does a much better job of extracting water from clothes so drying time is less compared to old machines.

Looks small on the outside but holds a LARGE load. Cleans great. Easy to use.

We were looking for a washer that was effective at getting clothes clean and was easy to program. This washer does it all and probably a bit more that we didn't need done in its design to make ecology workable. We've had the washer for 6 months and would buy it again if we had to make a choice. BB made the deal better by price matching a competitor.
