The Maytag Pet Pro Washer is an excellent choice for cleaning pet hair from clothes. Its effective mechanism allows it to gather and collect dirt efficiently, thanks to its unique design.

For me it’s been great for getting pet hair both short and long out of towels. Like it only thing to be aware of is making sure loads are balanced if you’re coming from a side loading washer.

The washer does the job easy to use and efficient. It will hold many clothes tub is huge to my old one.

Costly washer and not as many amenities compared to other cheaper models. Got is because of pets and I do not like that there is not timer for the load and the agitator is not removable.

Have had the washer just over a year & it's been great. We have 3 dogs & they all shed so the Pet Pro traps the hair which would otherwise go down the drain.

washer is excellent, albeit a bit loud but clothes are nice and clean. Installers were excellent and did an excellent job (had to walk the washer up stairs, around corners, and more).

This is a replacement for an existing Maytag Washer. The old washer stopped working and rather than have it repaired we decided to get a new washer with some specific features. These were an Agitator and the ability to have a deep water wash. Top load also The sales associate was very knowledgeable and I was comfortable with the entire sales process An excellent transaction.

Love the pet pro feature for the washer and dryer. We have two large dogs and the amount of dog hair removed from their blankets/clothing is amazing. The loads do take a long time to finish and the washer is quite loud but the clothes are clean.

Had a whirlpool for 5 years and the actuator kept snapping. Bought this maytag washer and so far it works great. The settings are great and easy to use

This washer is great if you have pets that shed. It removes the horse hair thoroughly. The filter system is very easy to remove and clean. The matching dryes catches any hair that might have been left over.

I chose this washer for the Pet Pro feature but I am so happy for all the other features it has. Cleaning out the pet hair trap is super simple and it really works. The washer detects by weight how much laundry I have and adds just enough water to wash my clothes super clean. Where I live, we always are on drought restrictions so this helps my water bill. It has so many lid types like jeans and towels so an extra way it helps with water. Best decision I’ve ever made was to buy this Pet Pro washer by Maytag.

Love the pet pro option and the trap that it has for pet hair. it works great and i can see a difference in how much hair is left on clean clothes. It take a little more water and time to use the pet pro option but it 100% worth it

It's lovely. It's bigger than our last Maytag which was 2.8 capacity. The problem is this: how much detergent to use? It's gotta be HE, which I have in liquid form. Does the machine sense how big the load is and use the appropriate amount of water? So am I supposed to guess at the load size and amount of soap in this bigger capacity drum? The instruction booklet doesn't address this - actually, doesn't address much. It's very small. I scoured the internet with minimal success. This 3 star would be a 4-5 if I had answers to this question.

Huge drum. Catching pet fur. Lots of settings. Clear top. Loving it. I’m 5’6” and can just reach bottom of drum. Would be difficult if I were shorter but a step stool would solve that.

I love our new washer and it definitely collects pet hair and other debris and it is easy to clean out as well! We bought the Pet Pro dryer too and I love it!!
