Amazing washer. The amount of dog& cat hair that is accumulated in the wash.

Wife likes it much better than the front loader we had.

First washer created a flood in utility room which affected the entry and hallways. Whirlpool claim still pending investigation. One day after 60 day warranty expired (on a Sunday) the second washer started leaking. BB would not honor warranty. Sent to another department for exchange. More to follow.

Washer seems to be ok, mine arrived with a broken lock so we were unable to wash clothes and returned it for a new one

Had what I wanted and bought the item. Easy financing too.

Great washer, works great for quick loads. However, it is loud! and doesnt work too great with Bulk items.

I had higher hopes for the set of these machines. They are less efficient than our last set that were 20 years old and on their last leg. I am also now stuck with them, as our time frame to exchange for different ones has passed.

Had for 4 months and won’t run. The lid locks and you can’t open it without taking it appart, which voids the warranty. Because it’s less than 1 year old, have to go through Maytag/Whirlpool service to fox which is awful. They don’t havr answers and need tech to come out. Been 2 weeks and still can’t get anyone out to fix. Not buying Whirlpool again.

Seems to do a very good job washing clothes, at a fraction of the water use of the previous machine. Has a much larger capacity at roughly the same floor space as the previous unit (I should have updated the dryer at the same time. I can now wash more than I can dry in one load.) Pet hair removal feature seems to work pretty well. There is a setting on the knob to drain and spin to get yet more water out of the clothes (plus one star). This seems to work quite well (especially on things that hold a lot of water, like towels) to get yet more water out, and thus reduce drying time. However, this is a poor implementation (minus 1/2 star) - it should be a switch I can set to have on automatically at the end of the wash cycle - or I'd change the design to simply spin until I didn't get any more water; as it is, I have to wait for the wash cycle to finish, then select this and wait 5 more minutes for this spin cycle to finish (if I choose to bother); as this is two floors down, it's annoying. Minus one star because the washer causes significant water hammer (pipe banging). I'm adding two washer water hammer arrestors from Home Depot for $30. Maytag should tweak the design of their valves to eliminate this problem.

Absolutely the worst washer on the market. It’s LOUD you can hear it in the garage

This is the worse purchase we have ever made. We haven’t even had this machine less than a month and it’s been a nightmare. Zero stars!

I love my new washer! Best Buy was so helpful in assisting me on the purchase - my previous Maytag (15 years old!) finally retired itself and I was able - because of their help - replace it within less than a week. It's a great machine and I hope it too will last another 15 years! The install people were wonderful! Made it so easy and were very thorough.

Loving this machine. Can wash my comforters and it was a great value.
