When I called Maytag (which is also whirlpool) they said this is very common in this machine. Has to be serviced already.

There was also a strange noise coming from the washer during the agitation cycle. I understand new washers can make some noise, but this was extremely loud. Have been trying to get someone to come out and look at it, but you can't take care of it in the store. You have to call the 1 800 number. Which you speak to people that you can't understand. I got transferred several times and never got a resolution. I am very frustrated with this process.
