Also, the reason for the one star is after starting a load it will randomly say take all the clothes out a run a cleaning cycle. It won't start again until you take out wet clothes and run it on "clean."

Less than 2 months! Terrible!

I do not write reviews, but this washer has been a nightmare. Every other load we get an off balance error. We have checked at various leg heights, and the level indicates it is perfectly balanced. We have raised the legs, lowered the legs, placed weights around the edges, nothing works. It stops the load if it thinks it is off balance so you have throw it into the dryer soaking wet. I seriously regret this purchase. We just wanted a basic washer and trusted the Maytag brand, our mistake.

It has broken twice in the last 9 months the first time was 2 months after delivery. The motor has fallen off twice but apparently according to Maytag/ Whirlpool that does not justify needing a replacement. Good thing I got the extended warranty because I am going to need it! Stay away from this brand, it may be made in the USA but they don’t stand behind the products.

Not overly pleased

Have tried both wrinkle control and delicate. Am not pleased that it takes 1 hr and 52 min to run a load of towels. May be no worse or better than anything else out there, but I don't wish my life taken up with doing and checking on laundry.

In fact don't buy anything from Whirlpool Corp if you don't like garbage. Bought this machine 8 months ago and the transmission is out of it. So I'm going on week 4 of waiting for it to be fixed. I bought this machine to replace a Whirlpool washing machine that the transmission went out in 2 years and then it was out of warranty. It's not like these machines are getting overused in a household with 3 people. I guess they fooled me twice and now the shame is on me.
