They finally delivered my appliances and only half the order works. The brought me a broken dryer.

Washer won't turn on after a little over 2 months.

This product is horrible!! We can’t stand this washer, it’s doesn’t wash clothes the first time!!

This washing machine caused a water hammer, which makes a big noise and vibration, it looks to cause the piping damage anytime soon.

Cannot wash big loads. It will not allow to make changes in the middle of using it

Washer completely broke and wont turn on 18 months after I bought it. It was a good washer while it worked, but it completely shut off with all my clothes stuck in it.

Worst washing machine ever. It has broken fown on us twice. You can’t get parts for it either.

The machine allows you to adjust the temp, delay the start, water level, and rinse cycle. It also has a variety of cycles to choose from. Although it does not have a soak cycle, the machine can be paused to allow extended soaking. There were a couple of surprise features we did not know about until we had the machine installed. The lid locks during active cycles and there is a three second delay before the a cycle starts. The delay in a cycle starting took a little getting used to. On the negative side, if keeping your washing machine looking clean and neat is an issue for you then the plastic lid will annoy you. The older style metal lids required virtually zero maintenance, the lid on this machine is readily smudged after each load. In addition, the machine seems a bit noisy. This could be a problem if you have your machine inside a small apartment or house. The machine appears to be doing a good job cleaning clothes.

Would be 5 star except two flannel sheets shut down Washer if not perfectly balanced. Had same problem with old washer of smaller capacity. Thought this one would solve that. You have to be ver very careful when inserting sheets around center spindle or it will shut down in spin cycle

Made grinding sounds and eventually died after 4 years. Warranty would not cover and repair was excess of $500 and we paid $750 for the washer. Bought a LG instrad.

We bought our Maytag less than FIVE years ago, and it's already broken and turns out to not worth the cost of fixing. The problem with our washers is the on board computer. Now all ours does it beep. Once it's computer is fried they don't work period. We've tried resetting it (turned off power source for up to 2 hours but 30 minutes typically suffices) and it resets the device just long enough for it to start beeping again. All it does now is produce an annoying beep. Hey, if you are looking for an overpriced noisemaker; or a disposable washer, this is the machine for you! If you made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing this steaming pile of socks you will likely need to buy an entire new washer because to fix this one part, it would actually cost $50 more then we bought the machine for new. Sadly, it seems to me that newer Maytags are made with very cheap electronic parts. Shame on you Maytag for producing a 'disposable' washer.

My family and I are disgusted. I remember growing up seeing the Maytag commercial with the repairman bored out his mind because Maytag appliances are supposedly so reliable and durable. That is not the case any longer. We purchased a new Maytag Model# MVW6230HW from Brandsmart on 6/16/2022. It is not even 2 years old (today is 5/6/2024), and we've had to have it repaired 5 times!!! This machine is a lemon. Everything from control board issues, to locking issues, to pump failure, to failed sensors, there is a regular issue with this model that puts us more often having to spend weeks using a laundromat waiting on parts to be ordered, appointments rescheduled, and repairs made. The latest issue was last night (5/5/2024). The repair man just left stating it's another sensor issue. I have a current home warranty (AHS), and I had an extended warranty (which has expired). It's not the matter of the machine eventually getting repaired. It's a matter of it constantly having to be repaired. It's not even 2 freaking years old. What kind of crap are you guys making Maytag?????!!!!! I will never recommend this brand again.

We purchased January 2020. One year was fine, but has been fix it more and more starting November 2022 and fixed 4 more visits since then. The main part that seems to be the problem is 15Y28-17 and now new # W10913953r. Best buy tech last fixed it last Thurs and today it is not working again. Best buy has done a great job on honoring their warranty so if you buy this machine , buy the extended warranty from best buy. Plastic parts and not being a direct drive motor might be the problem as well. I am looking for a different machine but even LG,GE and Samsung have too many negative reviews for my comfort. I have asked maytag if they make a direct drive motor and does the mvw7230 series use the same components as the 6230 series.. Have not heard back yet..

This washer is really is very efficient and has good settings for a household with little boys.

When it worked, it was great. But it stopped working after 3.5 years and repair man said it will cost anywhere from $270-$440.

Overall good washer but has also given a few errors codes. Not as much as the dryer though. But today got an F7E1 code that concerns me.

Love it can’t complain this product is the best one I’ve used yet

I purchased this washing machine two weeks ago. It’s perfect for the price and I’m over all happy with it. But, if you are financially able to purchase a washing machine with higher rpm’s do it. Had I realized how important the rpm’s were in wringing out my laundry I would have looked harder and spent a little more.

Excellent. Easy to use. Saves on water. Environment friendly.
