Extremely Dissatisfied Customer

We bought this set in August of 2020 when we moved into our new house. Since then, we have called in 7 or 8 times for two service calls which they keep saying they can't find the parts. We constantly get error codes and have to reload the clothes even though they are balanced. Most of the time we have to unplug and then plug it back in multiple times to get the machine to do one load of laundry. The same thing happens with the dryer, but not nearly as frequently. When we call Maytag for the service they refuse to do anymore than continue to search for the parts which we have been waiting on for over three months now. We even offered for them to take the machines back and pay the difference for a better set, which they have repeatedly said no. We will not be buying Maytag again due to this. We never had any issues like this with our GE set. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone.

Do not buy this washer thought for its smart functionality - you have to pay a subscription fee to Maytag to activate the smart functions, which I thought was completely unnecessary. I’m not going to dock stars for that Bc it’s a good washer so far, just annoyed at the fact that the smart functions cost money.

Some time delays that makes me wonder if the machine is functioning. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase---especially happy with Best buy.

Only uses as much water is needed but can be adjusted, doesn't take too long to run, and the biggest plus... I am short and can actually reach the bottom with both feet still touching the ground!

Also, have to set fabric softener before wash cycle, which is very random.

My old washer always made my clothes smell fresh. I have been unable to obtain that same smell with my new Maytag washer.

Disposable piece of junk! Didn’t make it 6 months!

Last week it started making a horrendous noise. Now the machine will fill a little bit, rotate the drum back and forth a couple times and then fill. It repeats this over and over. Spoke to Best Buy and they say Maytag will not let them touch their machines. It HAS to be serviced by them. I found this out when Best Buy canceled my repair appointment the morning of the appointment. On top of that, they do nothing. I have to contact them myself. Guess I will be without a washer for while. For a machine to break in less than 6 months, that should speak volumes for the quality of their product. I cannot recommend
