I’ve had this washer for 4 days. I’ve done 4 loads of laundry, two of which became unbalanced & just sat there with the lid locked, lights flashing. I had to turn it off, reposition the clothes & put it on the drain & spin cycle. Not sure if my clothes were even washed. It shouldn’t become unbalanced with 2 pairs of jeans, a few tops & socks in there. And it’s horribly loud - even during a load that isn’t off balance. I expected so much more from a Maytag. I would like to return it if I can .

I purchased this machine 1-9-24, no complaints. This machine was bought as an open box "excellent condition " all original parts. When I arrived to pickup it was missing a leveling leg. After I had pointed this missing part out to the manager Jeff, he refunded the difference for a lower quality open box item. Jeff also told me he would order the missing leg and call me when it came in. As of 2-2-24 I have not received a phone call. I have tried numerous times to reach Jeff at the store and all of my calls go to a call center, why can't I reach the store? With the help of the call center I was able to get in touch on two different occasions with two different people at The Parts Store where said part was to be ordered from. After extensive research it was determined that there was NEVER an order placed. I feel strongly this is a case of bait and switch, If I hadn't noticed the missing leg they would not have pointed it out. If this is how "best" buy trains the management and employees then shame on you!! Please share this with Jeff and send him for retraining, when you tell a customer you're going to order a part then order the part! Why in The world can customers not reach the store on the phone? BUYER BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS !! No need to get me that leg, after having an unusable machine sitting around for almost 3 weeks I took it upon myself to order one from the manufacturer.

Easy to use. Cleans clothes well. Lots of settings for different types of clothes. Sensor helps with the washing. Locking lid feature prevents mistakes.

Very good quality, works perfectly, washes very quickly, and is gentle on clothes. Definitely the best brand.

Fresh and clean are my clothes. I recommend tgis to anyone

Have mix feeling about this set. The washer moves almost with every load. We have tried and tried to balance it, no luck. Washer is loud. I don’t feel the clothes are getting clean without the agitator. Ive been asking my husband to take it back to get something better.

Basically only went with this model because the dyer that matched it was the only one we could find that would fit in the space we had. Works well washes clothes and does everything it’s supposed to do. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is it’s jut as loud as the 18 year old kenmoore we replaced.

Maytag is a Trusted name brand Control panel not overly complicated Large enough to wash quilts Cleans large loads very well Not real quiet but not too loud

It washes clothes well, down side it does not have a timer so you don’t know how long it takes for the cycle to wash. Also does not have a place for fabric softener you have to wait for the rinse cycle and then put it in, no one had time for that!

Saved. After our household washer broke we came and purchased this wonderful maytag washer. Timely delivery installation and removal of old washer was very professional. Very much appreciated and recommended.

Cleans clothes well, little louder than last Maytag machine. Very nice glass top allows you to see clothes inside.

OMG! The best washer I’ve had in years. My last washer said deep fill but only filled to about 2 inches. I had to wash twice to barely get the soap out. This one says auto, med., high & max. High covers big loads & max is really full fill for king size bedspreads. This has solid knobs instead of those flimsy little plastic push buttons that all stopped working quickly on my last 3 year old GE dishwasher my 4 year old washer & would have cost 1/2 the price of a new one to fix. This Maytag does have a push button to turn it on & to start but they feel more solid. The Maytag doesn’t get off balance like my GE had from the start. The tub says it’s a fraction larger than my old but it feels twice as big. It had a wait time in all the stores. I had to wait 2 months to get it cause everyone wanted this one. Don't wait till yours completely breaks down like I did to order.

I'm still not sure about this machine. It makes a lot of noise associated with the first 2 cycles. Whenever it calls for water, it's like they make the pipes bang every time it calls for water. It's quite unsettling. I will be recording this "banging" sound next time I use the washer and will return to the store to find out if this is the norm, let's hope not or it will be returned.

Love the way this washer leave my clothes feeling. The down fall was there was nowhere to put fabric softener or detergent. You have to pour directly on clothes.

Great service at the BestBuy in Antioch CA, the delivery team did a very fast and great job as well. The washer is so far so good, No issues and no-load noise.

The machine is great. It just took us some time to learn how to use it.

I've had this Magtag washer for about a month now and it works great so far. It is a little loud but I am fine with it.
