Maytag, a consistent product

This model has impeller not agitator which allows more space in the drum for washing large, bulky items such as comforters. So far, I am very pleased with this this top loader ( I have only owned it for 2 weeks). The only issue noted is starting button. When pushing down on button, it doesn't always start up after holding the the 3 seconds.

EASY to USE

I have to balance the laundry carefully to keep it form going out of balance during the cycle. I have to load smaller amount to keep it from going out of balance. Don't recommend it, too finicky.

Efficient washing machine with many useful feature

Machine is a bit noisy but one gets used to the clicking sounds and whine of the spin cycle.

Great without the smart features

We like having the dials instead of buttons. The only complaint that keeps it from 5 stars is that the two buttons it has have covers that feel relatively cheap, so you really need to press them down to work. Other than that very happy with this washer!

New Washer Unit

However, this new model is located near our kitchen and it makes very noticeable electronic noises. Also, if we had a do-over, we would upgrade to include the "wrinkle-free" switch.
