Called Maytag because I could not get any one to answer they phone at bowling green Best Buy. Maytag sent Someone to look at the washer. It has to have both electrical panels Replaced. He said it would take 15 to 21 days maybe to get the parts and then schedule another time for him to come out. So that is 30 days without a washer that I paid $800 for

We were not happy with this machine shortly after purchasing, so of course we were not interested in spending that amount on an $800 machine that was not the quality we expected from a Maytag brand. Machine lid locks immediately upon beginning wash cycle, with no opportunity to unlock until spin cycle ends. When the washer quit working the tub was full of water, and the only way to get the top open was to shop vac the water from the tub via the drain hose. From the start, we often had to restart the washer several times to get it to start the wash cycle. So disappointing to have to purchase another washer in less than a year and a half.

I really like being able to watch the operation through the clear lid. Its narrower than prior machine making it easier to pickup items that i drop between it and the dryer. Controls are very intuitive.
