Drum banged on side, chirping belt, loud. Maytag has been our go to for years but quality difference between LG and Maytag is night and day. We would like to buy American but……..

Which happened to me, once the latch off, the washer completely stop working due to can’t lock the door. Meaning useless.

Sometimes even have to do Xtra rinse. We returned the first one because of this , got a new one and it has same problem.

Must say it does save water but it has taken some time to understand all the choices on the control panel but gets easier the more I use it. It was highly recommended to get the extended warranty, which I did, as these new appliances with all the electronics tend to have issues. Hope it holds up like my previous one.
