Cons- extremely loud. Holds water in the detergent tray after every load. you can not add clothes after the load has started.

I was used to a front loader. This machine is very simple to use and has a very large capacity. I formerly owned a Samsung frontloader. Prefer the top loader Maytag hands down

I gave it a 2 because when it works, it works well, however; I can not turn it on and walk away. Half of the time it gets out of balance and starts thumping, so I have to stop it and try to rearrange the clothes. This is very frustrating for the amount of money I paid. I will take the agitator over top loading any day.

I have to empty it with each load. But other than that, it works great.
