We just updated from an LG that wouldn't even use the hot water properly, and wasn't the best at cleaning. This washer has done an incredible job of cleaning our clothes, and it looks pretty modern / slick. The only thing I've noticed is that it is a little louder than our old washer, but that's not a problem for us personally. It goes great with our existing Maytag dryer, and we couldn't be happier.

I bought this washer because I needed to replace our Kitchen-aid washer that was top of the line. Kitchen-aid does not make washers anymore, the Maytag was the next best thing according to the reviews. I chose top loading because I am always adding one more thing to the wash and I wanted that convenience. Unfortunately, I cannot do it because if I open the washer, it not only has to be reprogramed but it automatically empties the water and starts the wash all over again. So, I cannot add any extra items to my wash. Another annoying thing is the depth, I wanted a larger washer for the king comforters that I regularly wash. Though it fits them well, it is too deep and I need a tool to reach the clothes that are at the bottom. Wider instead of taller would have been better. Regarding the noise is as noisy as the washer I had before, and it takes longer to wash clothes. The was is not better than what I had before and, once you select a temperature, you cannot change it with out...having to star the washing again! So it is frustrating to instead of an upgrade having gotten a downgrade on functionality.

So far so good. We bought an open box machine and we have had it for a year now. Going to the store and looking around was nice. No one bugging us while we looked and when we needed someone they were there. I would and will use them in the future purchase of my dishwasher.

Washes well, it's pretty quiet. It was as easy to install as any other washer. I haven't connected it to the wifi, because that service is an additional cost. Even though it isn't all that expensive, my wife decided she didn't want it. Haven't used the extra power button either.

Still getting use to all of the features. I instantly saved money since I don’t have to put my larger items in the cleaners or go to the laundromat.

Fast, efficient install. Washer is fairly quiet, worked well in cleaning and drying king size comforter and blankets, as well as small loads.

So quick and easy ordering and picking up!! Love this washer so much I bought it a 2nd time when my first one died after 5 years.

Washer was less than six months old when it wouldn’t complete the cycle. The machine had an error code pertaining to the drain being clogged (it wasn’t) and remained locked indefinitely with my clothes in it. My husband had to manually drain it (big mess) to get it open. We contacted Maytag and they sent out a tech (two weeks later), who said he’d have to order parts and come back in another two weeks… He came back out, installed the parts, and told me it was fixed. That evening I try to wash a load and the same exact error happens and my clothes are locked in the washer soaking wet, AGAIN. Repair people can’t come out for another TWO weeks. At this point I have no faith it will be fixed then and Best Buy just informed us that it’s only a two-week return window. Two weeks?? That’s ridiculous. The employee in the store said she “only makes $15 an hour” and told my husband that he could go find the manager himself!!! I won’t be shopping at Best Buy ever again. We have two very young children, I work full time, and I have been schlepping to the laundromat for over a month after spending $800+ on a new machine. Not to mention spending $60 a week on laundry!!! Long story short, do NOT buy this. Best Buy and Maytag will leave you high and dry when it breaks.

I like it a lot but I wish I had an agitator. It doesn’t seem like it really rotates any of the clothes in there. Spotty cleans

I Love it, it's quiet and easy to use and I love the fact that I can monitor my wash from my cell phone.

Needed to find a washing machine quickly, as my old one died. Did not have much time to research. This has been a great gamble. It washes large loads easily, quiet operation, easy use. Not quite sure why there is remote ability, outside of over-engineering

I previously owned a Samsung top load that kept giving me a DC error and never really even liked the darn thing anyways- clothes never really came out clean. Anyways this washer is AMAZING! I have only owned it for a week but have been able to keep up with laundry, clothes even smell better and look cleaner! I have yet to use all the functions but I am so very pleased. Bonus with the app lets me know when the wash is complete since it is in the basement that is super helpful! Definitely satisfied so far!

Great machine. Makes wash-day easy. My only problem..I did not give it a thought about how far down I would have to bend and reach to retrieve washed clothes. My reason for giving 'ease of use', 4 stars. Utilizing a pair of kitchen flat-head tongs to help. They work. Machine is well worth the money; and I love Maytag.

We love the washer so far. It looks good, runs quiet, and dies a great job with our clothes. Recommend this if you are looking for a good washer.

This washing machine holds a lot of clothes! I can easily fit my king size comforter in it and it cleans well.

Holds a huge load but uses a much smaller amount of water than the old machine. Quieter too. Very happy with this purchase.
