I would highly recommend this washer. It is a great utilization of space as our previous washer had the same measurements but could not fit our comforter. The washer detects the weight in it and will not overfill and even balances itself out. If it can not balance the items in the washer it will stop the cycle so you can disperse the load so it wont throw itself out of balance. It even has a clean cycle where every so often it will need to do a clean cycle so your washer stays clean for cleaning your clothes. One of the best investments I have ever made.

Our washer needed replaced and while I had big dreams to buy a macjone that did it all in one I had to settle on a reliable brand and machine so I went with this Maytag. My old machine was a Maytag and it lasted years. This one had a huge tub, im 5 ft 2 and I have to get my husbands help to get the laundry out so if you are short that might be something you want to know. Otherwise I highly recommend this machine. I love love love it!

The washer has a big capacity, it’s pretty quiet and easy to use. Each load averages around an hour to complete a cycle but you can fit so much in one load it takes me the same time to finish my laundry. There is a quick cycle which works great and it’s bout 30 minutes. Loving this new washer so far no complaints.

No matter the cycle, Delicates included, this machine agitates on the FILL cycle so harshly that delicate fabrics are in jeopardy of tearing. It's awful and extreme. When the tech came to the house under the warranty he mocked it and said they aren't made well and though it has a large capacity, these machines are not balanced and we should still wash comforters at a commercial laundry. When he called in about the harsh agitation in the Fill cycle he was told it requires that to break up the soap. What?!? The tech said to buy a cheap Amana like he has at home, and don't ever buy these expensive machines again as they are cheap and don't last. So, now I am stuck washing half of my clothes in mesh bags to keep from ripping them up in the FILL cycle! My last expensive LG lasted just under 2 years with no way to repair a major problem which was why we bought this Maytag. Another mistake. This also lacks the ability to run a soak cycle. The only thing you can do is just stall the wash cycle and go back and restart it manually. There are other problems, but the worst is the extremely harsh agitation in the FILL cycle. Awful machine. So much for the warranty.

Efficient washer with a sensor to tell what water level is needed. Large wash drum that balances out loads automatically. The electronic controls are very helpful. It is very easy to set and and the washer is very quiet.

My LG front loader broke down after 10 years of service and I had to pick a new replacement quickly. After looking at what was available I decided to go with a top loader. This one is huge! I am 5'2" and need a step stool or a grabber tool to reach the clothes on the bottom. It can hold twice the amount of clothes that my old machine could. One drawback is that it goes off kilter easily and that means I have to climb up the step stool and re-adjust the load, not easy for me. Otherwise, it's a pretty good washer.

This only gets the 5 stars because this needs to be brought to all buyers attention. Please read the one star reviews! Keep looking, this is not worth the $1000+. I bought this a little over a year ago, both washer and dryer set, dryer is going strong so far! I was in love. It was quiet, efficient and washed the clothes pretty well. Best of all i could wash comforters and towels with ease. I loved the large wash basket. Then before 1 year comes up, it stops draining in the middle of a wash. They came, the washer was draining again. Although it sounded louder than it originally did when it spun, it was LOUD. Fast foward a year it now would not get pass the sensing and go straight to washing complete. Got someone out here, paid 140.00+ to do the assessment (from maytag) only to be told the whole washer was shot due to a broken drain pipe(original problem from year 1) which caused water to go on to motor, which is now shot as well, and the outer basket needs to be replaced. All in all, he said get a new washer it ain’t worth fixing. And don’t make the same mistake i did, with whatever appliance you get ALWAYS get the extended warranty. Everyones problems that is listed on here in the 1 star review is right, i just wish i had read the bad reviews first.

Couldn't be happier with the Maytag Washing Machine. The machine seem to be much more efficient then our old LG machine. The LG would sometimes take twice as long to complete a cycle. This Maytag seems to wash quicker then initial start time shows and still gets the clothes clean. I highly recommend this washing machine.

It is a great washer machine. I had a Maytag Front loader for about 8 years and loved it. So I chose a Maytag brand again but top loader instead. I find that the washer itself is easier to keep clean Its huge and can fit a king comforter. Easy to use and we like the Wi-Fi capability. This is my first experience with an impeller washer and it is different than what the agitator does to the laundry when watching the cycle. Everything comes out nice and fresh and clean. The extra power mode is really for a super heavy duty load with soil / stains . I recommend using max fill otherwise it doesn’t look like the water covers the entire load in the wash cycle, however in the manual it says it doesn’t have to but I find it does a better job on the max fill setting. Maytag makes a great brand and I hope I get another 8 or prayfully more years out of this washer.

So far so good. Finally replaced my 29 year old Maytag. Love the capacity for blankets and comforters. Easy on your laundry but cleans really well. I have been using the cheat sheet that was in the manual to find the best settings and temps. I'm 5'6 and can just reach the bottom of the machine. I have no need for my washer to be online.

Our only issue was that the bolt under the washer for the tub was loose. After that fast and easy fix it has been very good for a year. The "Clean Washer" alert should come on AFTER being done with a load, not BEFORE you start a load.

I have had great experiences with Maytag appliances in my home in recent years (no issues with any of them thus far), so I expect the same quality standards will apply with this product as well. Seems well built, has a large tub with a looking glass top, easy-to-use controls, American made, and gets our clothes clean. What more can you ask for?

It should go without saying however you must use the instructions that come with the washer to make sure the settings are right otherwise the machine doesn't use enough water to wash the clothes. We bought this as an open box and it didn't come with the instructions so I tried to wing it as far as washing settings go. The machine was shutting off in the middle of a cycle as it was out of kilter, it bounced around and made so much noise I almost thought a plane hit the house. But then I went on line and got the instructions and all those issues are not occurring. I'm disappointed that it doesn't seem to have a slow spin cycle for delicate items however so far no clothing seems to have been damaged. I am also disappointed that even though the lid is glass, it is so darkly smoked and you can't really see what is going on inside of the machine. Even though I see all these issues I would buy it again at the price at which I was able to purchase it.

Love my new Maytag washer. Haven’t had any issues with it. When I put bulky items in, I noticed that it’s best to put the spin on Medium, so t doesn’t go off balance. Love the large capacity and remote usage of my washer. Washes clothes very well.

This washing machine has a huge capacity. It is easy to get through your laundry in a short period of time. Very quiet when compared to my previous washing machines. Bulky items however must be equally distributed in order to assure that it can complete the load.

Absolutely love the size of this washer. I am able to wash my sofa covers easily. The only problem is that the machine gets off balance with bulky items and the cycle has to be stopped so that the clothes can be repositioned. Also, I always use the max fill as I am not sure their is enough water otherwise.

Horrible! If I could give this less than one star I would! At first was pretty good washed well and was pretty efficient in that the capacity is huge no complaints initially. BUT IT’S BROKEN ALREADY!! Purchased in August 2021 and it’s not working in March 2022–7 months later. It turns on but doesn’t run the cycle. It’s still under warranty and it’s been serviced but they don’t know what wrong with it! Techs have ordered a part hoping it fixes it but it’s back ordered—under manufacture’s warranty not a Best Buy issue at all. Have now been without what’s essentially a new appliance for over 2 weeks with no guarantee the part we are waiting on will fix it. Really disappointed pointed in this purchase. Considering scraping it and starting over with another brand…Would not recommend purchasing this product.
