Our only issue was that the bolt under the washer for the tub was loose. After that fast and easy fix it has been very good for a year.
The "Clean Washer" alert should come on AFTER being done with a load, not BEFORE you start a load.

Couldn't be happier with the Maytag Washing Machine. The machine seem to be much more efficient then our old LG machine. The LG would sometimes take twice as long to complete a cycle. This Maytag seems to wash quicker then initial start time shows and still gets the clothes clean. I highly recommend this washing machine.

Overall this is great. It is very large and does more than twice the load amount my old washer did in half the time. Only downside is that it is extremely loud. Sounds like it’s bringing down the house sometimes. But it does a great job washing and I love the faucet to rinse stains etc that is inside the machine.

Great washer. I was looking for the bigger unit but it was discontinued. This is large enough to get the job done with bedding or cloths.
If you need a bigger load, you should probably get up more often and wash cloths.
No spin issues after we loaded couple times. You obviously need to place cloths in somewhat balanced. I see some reviews mention spin issues.
Learn how to load a washer. You can’t throw your entire house in the thing. It’s a big open area, have some common sense.
Wife loves it. Mine was set in Spanish by default. Look on youtube and it’s easy to change language and setup.

Wonderful machine nice large tub that handles my kings size comforters and large loads of jeans. Run quiet and smooth and get the cloths nice and clean. I would recommend this washer to family and friends. Very satisfied

Excellent and reliable, love that we can put large items like pillows and blankets and without the center post this machine handles them with ease. We can easily recommend this.

We bought a house last year and the washer and dryer came with the house. The washer quit working, so I purchased this washer because my first choice (also a Maytag) was a 2 month backorder. I have always had agitator style washing machines, but I wanted something with a large enough capacity to wash comforters and blankets. The very first washer and dryer set I owned were Maytag, bought in 1994 and after 22 years, had to replace the motor in the dyer, and after 25 years, the timer in the washer! I left those behind when we moved to our new house (and as far as I know they are still working) which I'm still kind of sad about because I know appliances nowadays don't last that long, which is a shame for the cost. Personally, I prefer good old fashioned mechanical over computerized anything because so much more can go wrong and is more expensive to repair. Took some getting used to, but so far, I love this washing machine! My clothes are clean and the impeller seems to be a little gentler during the wash process than an agitator.

This is a great washer. I have purchased Maytag washers most of my life, and I have never been disappointed. It is simple to operate, very quiet, and has great capacity for a large load of towels or king size bedding.

The motor on our Speed Queen died and we needed a new washer. This washer was among the top rated washers. It does not have a center agitator like the Speed Queen did and therefore is gentler on our clothes. Some wash cycles can take a little longer because of this, but they really get clothes clean with no soap residue. If you try to wash a single large item like a bath towel, the washer may become unbalanced during the spin cycle, so it is important to have enough items in the washer before you start a load. Once we realized this, we've never had any issues.
It is a large capacity washer--the opening at the top of the washer is about 39 inches above the floor--so if you are below average in height it might be difficult to reach all the way down inside to retrieve smaller items from the bottom of the washer.
Overall a much better washer than our previous washer and we are very pleased with it. Best Buy delivered the washer on time and did a good job setting it up and removing the old one.

I have always owned top load washers, so I was hoping that this machine was an improvement over the last top loader I had purchased four years ago. That one ( not a Maytag, but a well known national brand) was noisy and never seemed to clean my cloths as well as I would have liked.
The Maytag is just the opposite. It is quiet, has features that allow you to customize the load like deep fill & Extra power wash. Some of the operational aspects can be initiated remotely through the Maytag app. Very cool! Bottom line:I would highly recommend this product,

Great machine that is very quiet, but has only 2 spin cycles. I wanted the 5.5 cu. ft. and was this one over the phone and I returned it to the store. If you only need a medium and high spin cycle then this unit will be great.
I would recommend this to a friend

Pretty quiet and efficient. The one complaint i have is the little drawer you put detergent in still holds water. You cant dump it out ao i do worry of mold.
