We purchased the range because of the features and styling. Our entire family found the appliance easy to use, accurate temperature and easy to clean. 2 years and 11 months after the purchase it appears the oven cannot heat past 325 degrees.

Looks nice, dislike cleaning system. Long time to heat up.

Beautiful item, but the cooking surfaces scratches so easily. I've had this stove for a little over a moth and I am extremely disappointed with the scratches just from cooking. Had I known about this problem I would never have purchased this stove.

This range has the "aqualift" self-cleaning oven feature. It's not self cleaning. Aqualift doesn't work, and additionally, Maytag says not to use oven cleaner on it. Aqualift does nothing to clean the walls, back or glass of the oven, and requires scrubbing the inside of the oven, according to the instructions. In Canada, Whirlpool is offering a 60 day money-back guarantee on the Aqualift technology, due to complaints. No such luck in the US.

This is my first flat top & first convection oven. Loving it!

Have had stove about a month. The coating UNDER the glass top came off on one burner. This NOT a scratch from a pan. Bought new stainless pans just for the stove with encapsulated aluminum smooth. bottoms. Will be contacting Geek Squad today. Quality of stove a lot less than my two former ceramic top stoves

Brand new and the oven doesn’t work… it takes an hour to preheat and doesn’t actually get to the temperature it displays. Do not buy.

Warming center has no temperature control. Pre-set temperature is too low to be useful. Would have preferred 200 degrees. Oven cooked unevenly. Burnt some things, left others undercooked. Both are despite independent check of oven temperature and careful timing. Returned unit to Best Buy and exchanged for GE.

came in dented. best buy sent replacement which also came in damaged. still waiting on the 3rd attempt. fingers crossed.

After two exchanges, this range finally meets our crazy requirements. We originally purchased a Frigidaire Gallery range that was highly rated by consumer reports along with a Frigidaiere gallery microwave oven. But after delivery found that the space between our range and microwave was only 13" and the knob markings on the stainless steel range were impossible to see without sticking our heads in the resulting hot tunnel between the two. So, after using it for a few weeks we gave up and exchanged it for a Samsung with larger and easy to read knobs. But the installers were unable to install it flush within two inches of the rear wall due to our floor mounted electric plug, who would have anticipated that problem? So back it went as we exchanged it for a second time. This time we went with the Maytag as it was the only one left that looked like it might fit in our older kitchen, (of course this one was the only one not on sale) it fit and we can see the knob markings without scalding our face. We have other Maytag appliances that we like and are aging well so were hopeful this one too will last a few years. So far we just used the smooth top which heats evenly. Consumer reports rates this Maytag model highly except for the self cleaning function (a newer low heat wet cleaning method) which it rates only as "fair" but we can hand clean touch up if necessary. We had to buy four new appliances from Best Buy this year, as our old Samsung appliances all managed to quit on us (they were between 3 and 5 years old). So, after that experience, we purchased Best Buys service contracts (a first for us). Were glad we choose Best Buy as our appliance store, they really do stand by their exchange and price match policy.. We'd like to thank Dave Singer and also Jeremy ? at the Northglenn store for their professional hand holding during all this, both great guys to do business with, you might want to ask for one of them if your in the market for a new appliance!

I have had this range for four years and three months now and the oven heating element has broken in two twice. Luckily I purchased the 5year protection plan with Best Buy to get this repaired. I am happy with everything else about the range just disappointed that the oven element keeps breaking.
