Maytag Fan

I had my last dryer for over 10 years and only replaced because movers damaged it. This dryer is good and does the job. The only thing odd is the control buttons. I still haven’t figured out some of the settings. Also, it’s a bit noisy but this model is only one step up from their base model so probably to be expected.

All good so far

Delivery and set up was very good. Best Buy had the earliest available delivery date than any of the competitors. I also bought a Whirlpool washing machine a couple years back from Best Buy and that also went well.

Not worth the money

There really isn’t a lot that sets this one apart from the basic lower priced dryers. The moisture sensing is absolutely worthless, every load was left wet, so I just use the timed dry settings. Seems to take even longer to dry clothes than my old dryer.

The wrinkle reducer feature times out after a while but I haven’t had a problem with wrinkles either so overall I’ve been very happy with this purchase.

New Dryer

I wish it let me pick my own timer vs the set times on the machine. Also the doors noise is a little loud while closing and you have to pull a little hard to open the door

Maytag Junk

Tried to contact Maytag but it's a Saturday and they have banker's hours. I guess we should be happy it worked for 17 months. It's just 2 people in the household. Much more is expected!
