Metal part holding knob slipped into control panel. Only this set two years. Now we worried the knobs will do the same!!!

Issue with Maytag dryer "door/lint filter

I exchanged it for another Maytag dryer and the same issue with the second New dryer has the same issue, ugh. I guess I have to live with the door and lint filter. to exchange this dryer for a Whirlpool dryer is the size of machine, etc. Thanks for asking.

They were done within 30 minutes. The washer and dryer work excellently highly recomd the delivery and the product.

I wish the top was flat vs this new theme of roundedness (on many appliances) that makes things slip off. Solid dryer. Be sure to remove your power cord from yiur prior dryer to save the $40.

After contacting Best Buy, they told me to contact Maytag who did nothing, telling me it is cosmetic. They told me to schedule service with another company which I did and the technician took pictures and basically told me it was cosmetic and to contact Maytag. Back and forth and no one is doing anything. Maytag told me if I wanted a new drum I would have to pay for it, disgusting.I can’t believe that Maytag doesn’t stand behind their products! Do not buy. My previous Maytag dryer lasted over 20 years, will not purchase another.

It was the same size as my old one and we had a hard time getting the old one out. We had to disassemble it. We had to find something smaller. I think I will opt for the delivery and installation. It's $65 and hopefully worth it. I will check back and let you know how that goes. The price was right and the brand speaks for itself.

The door felt wobbly when it was opened and it sounded tinny when it was shut. it took twice as long to dry the clothes in this new Maytag as it did in my old Maytag, which was over 15 years old.
