SEEMS TO BE GOOD AT WHAT I WANTED A SIMPLE PANEL AND DRYING CAPABILTIES

Terrible: Timer control knob has stripped on plastic holder. can't set timer. Metal part holding knob slipped into control panel. Only this set two years. Now we worried the knobs will do the same!!!

Very please Maytag dryer Have owned Maytag appliances before

I didn't realize how big it was and it wouldn't fit in through my cellar door. It was the same size as my old one and we had a hard time getting the old one out. We had to disassemble it. We had to find something smaller. I think I will opt for the delivery and installation. It's $65 and hopefully worth it. I will check back and let you know how that goes. The price was right and the brand speaks for itself.

Easy to use. No complex dials or inexplicable settings. Just what we were looking for.

You don't get much for the cost. Dries ok. Door is as strong as an empty beer can. Didn't even put their label on straight. Settings dial is hard to turn.

I purchased this brand new dryer less than 6 months ago and the drum inside the unit quit spinning. A repair tech from Maytag came out and determined that I needed a new belt and motor. I’m told the parts will have to be ordered and the estimated delivery of parts will be 7-10 business days. I requested a new dryer unit because I have a family of 7 and can not go another 1.5 weeks without a dryer. I was told that is not an option, by both Maytag and Best Buy. I will never purchase another Maytag product.

It is quiet but takes a while to fully dry my clothes.

Nice dryer, replaced a old burnt out one. Clothes dry quickly and even heavy items only need to be run once. Should have purchased sooner.

The knobs keep stripping and so the unit will not turn on. We've had this machine for 28 months and have had to get it serviced twice. The first time was within the 24 month coverage, the second time is not, meanwhile it is the same issue again. Obnoxious to say the least.

Not your grandmother's Maytag. The settings nob is cheaply made and poorly engineered. Had it for 3 months and it stopped working. It took 2 weeks to get the parts and i had to fix it myself. So if you purchase one,TURN THE NOB THE SAME WAY! As far as the performance goes ill update that in 10 years.

NEVER BUY THE WARRANTY!!! Best Buy is not trained to repair this appliance. They will refer you to a third party. The third party will not show up within a reasonable time frame or they will completely not show up to their appointment. The Geek Squad support for this product is AWFUL!

The knobs on the dryer keep breaking and it takes sometimes weeks to get it fixed. I have 3 kids and a husband whose job requires him to have a clean uniform daiky, and he only has one. The name Maytag used to mean sturdy, well-made and dependable. Now its just cheaply made crap designed to break down so you have to replace every 2 years, if it lasts that long. I have a 5-year warranty , but BB passes the buck. Why did I pay all that money to get outsourced????

Nice dryer! I have it for a rental property. Takes large loads so blankets and comforters dry easily.

The washer unit came delivered with body damage. I was told I was getting a partial refund but I haven't received 1 cent in 3 months. Best Buy refuses to help or is incompetent. Pick one.

Awful, doesn’t fully dry the clothes. We thought it was going to be great and simple but it just doesn’t do a good job at all.
