    I bought this dryer two years ago, and it has already stopped tumbling. The basic warranty was only one year, and while there is a so-called 10-year warranty, it turns out that only covers the part—not diagnostics or labor. When I contacted customer service, I was told it would cost around $400 to repair, which is nearly half the price of a new dryer. My previous dryer lasted 20 years, so this has been a major disappointment. Unless you plan to buy an extended warranty or already have a home warranty plan, I wouldn’t recommend this model. It literally died after just two years of normal use. Worst dryer I’ve ever owned.

    Compared to the 20 year old Maytag Neptune Dryer this replaced, it feels flimsy. The top lint slot is harder to remove vs the in-door version.

    Compared to older , previous dryer, this one has to be on high heat instead of medium and still takes longer to dry. Very inefficient and not cost effective
