My last Maytag dryer had a light inside which made it very helpful seeing inside the dryer and finding things. This for some reason doesn't. I have had it for a little over a month, so far great, just missing the light.

The design is top tier and it’s a quiet machine. It also features some voodoo technology that allows it to sense the weight of the items and adjust the time accordingly.

It is a good machine. There is a delay start feature that you have to hold down the start button before it will begin and I find that somewhat tedious. The sheer power of this machine actively sucks the lint out of all of your clothes. Never have I ever had to actually clean the filter after each use, but with this machine you must. It accumulates so much into over one cycle it is impressive. It is significantly less powerful on a lower heat setting also, compared to other machines I’ve had, perhaps that is just a me issue that I need to work with and understand better. Overall, a solid machine. Many quirks to learn about though.

This dryer is very efficient. I like that it senses the dryness of the load and will turn off when dry rather than continue to run. Lots of options available and I like the extra power boost it offers. But like the washer, I’m not a fan of having to hold the start button to the count of 3 before it turns on. It literally counts down 3-2-1 and the starts. But other than that. I love it.

The dryer never gave me any troubles. It was really pretty in my laundry room. Didn't keep for very long because I did not like the matching Washer.

The Maytag model MED5630HW Front load electric dryer we bought at Best Buy is working out great. We bought the stackable washer and dryer set saving a lot of space and not loosing any functionality. Best Buy came through with the delivery and installation on time. Noise levels are very low. We have no complains of any kind about the equipment or Best Buy. Thank you.
