We moved in to our house realizing that we would need to purchase an electric dryer, replacing our gas dryer. Purchased on sale for $700, beating out other local, big box pricing by 10%. This dryer works great andwas priced well! Also the size of the dryer is a little more modest, as apposed to some others that border on the size of a Sub Zero refrigerator. Definitely recommend this dryer given its price to performance!

Purchased this dryer to replace my old dryer that was struggling to keep the thermostat fuse from popping. The dryer vent hose probably runs about 30 ft in my house and my old dryer was struggling to maintain good air flow I believe to exhaust the hot air properly. This dryer is a beast, handles large capacities and is fast and quiet both. Highly recommend.

Owned this machine for multiple years now. We have large laundry loads and this has had no issues since we had it handling anything we throw in it. Drying out sometimes takes a bit longer than other models we owned but a worthy trade off for something that will actually work more than 1 year. They still definitely don’t make them like they use too but this is a solid choice by today’s standards especially for the price we paid.

Runs very quite. Love the extra power button when it lights up. Our old dryer stopped working right at the beginning of the NH stay-at-home. Ordered online and had it delivered with power cable. Easy to connect power cable and install dryer. Make sure you have some one with you when you level it as it makes it easier. Controls are easy to use, but wish the alarm was louder only because our dryer is downstairs. I went to Staples to laminate the easy to follow one page instructions because there are five people in my house learning to use it. Even my 87 year old mother-in-law can use it.

Very quiet and great to use. Love the different settings and it does big loads of laundry no problem. Live where the lint filter is making it so easy to clean.

I am actually giving the product 4 stars but the delivery experience dropped my rating. The Product: to install the power cord, you have to unscrew three screws then attach hoop connectors so the screws must come all the way out. There is nothing guarding the screws or preventing them from falling, and I dealt with a screw that fell down into the body of the dryer. I had to steal a screw off the rear panel of the dryer (luckily the same type) so I could connect the power. There should be clips or non-screw connectors that make this more consumer friendly and simple so this doesn't happen. When attaching the stacking kit brackets, the threaded holes on the right bracket were poorly done so I could only screw those halfway in. The left hand side worked fine. The threading on the holes for the screw-on-feet are also poorly done so the feet don't easily screw in. For a plastic part you shouldn't have to use a wrench to screw them in. The drain hose was not long enough for me to insert it into the drain in the rear of the cubby where my w/d go. Maytag should include a longer hose instead of designing for a typical side by side install in a laundry room; not everyone has those. Otherwise I am happy with the machine's performance, how quiet it is, its looks, and what a nice job it does. The installation: BB delivery refused to install because my old, conventional uni-body stacker would not pull all the way out because its hoses were too short. Instead they fell back on the lawyer's preventing them from doing anything but the bare minimum (a la installing a w/d in a conventional set up where everything is easily accessible -- that doesn't always happen in towers because developers aren't the smartest) so I had them leave it behind and installed it myself. Disappointing I had to do that but at least installation was free.

This unit has been a good replacement to my old dryer. It is energy efficient, quiet, and dries really well. I have been happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Fantastic product, I’ve had it for almost a year and no issues. I looked at multiple models before finally deciding to buy this particular one. It can tackle any of laundry necessities, from small loads to bulky comforters. I do suggest having a professional install because the machine is a beast, and should be leveled properly.

Energy efficient and space conservative. I love how it has a setting for numerous functions. Holds a lot of clothes and is amazing. Overall it has been a wonderful choice.

The dry is simle to use. Missing a light, if that makes a difference. Does not have all the bells and whistles, but we did not use most of them on previous units anyway.

This dryer has performed flawlessly since we bought it. We've been able to dry massive comforters without issue. True it doesn't have fancy bells and whistles like WiFi but with such a long-term investment we made the conscious decision to put tech as a distant priority.

Really nice dryer. Very quiet. Looks sharp. Would be nice to have an interior light. Would be nice to be able to reduce or increase temp without starting a new cycle. But fits perfectly within our home. We have confidence in Maytag.

Dryer dries clothes very fast and efficiently. Its on the quieter side for a dryer

First off, a huge thanks to our install crew from Best Buy. The "closet" where it was installed was a tight fit. They worked extra hard to get it in. My wife wanted as basic and simple of a dryer as possible. Overall the controls are intuitive. The three second hold on the start button helps prevent unintended starts, if young children are present. This dryer is near our living room, so being as quiet as it is, has been a pleasant surprise. This dryer is much more gentle on our clothes than the one we just replaced. I would highly recommend this dryer if you do not want the steam feature.
